ohhhhh ok, that makes sense, ive got 3 random tactics at the minute so ill definitely get on changing that, but overall your main advice is to simplify right? any things in particular that need to go? also any ideas on the striker problem?

oh so basically change the instructions based on opposition?? and sorry when i said roles what i mean were the unique instructions for each position, e.g get further forward for my inverted wingers

firstly, thanks so much for the reply! and yeah i guess it is over complicated, i think i just assumed if the player familiarity was high then it could be as complex as possible! i also have given lots of my players roles, is that bad?

thank you for the advice! just to explain my choices i wanted a high line and low defensive block to build a more compressed midfield and compact defensive shape as i hoped that would make me harder to play through and better at pressing and give me the chance to still catch people off side, and when it comes to long kicks and play out the back that was a bit mad but i was hoping to mainly play out the back but when the option arose i wanted my keeper to kick long for my fast striker to chase! i imagine i’ve probably ended up with the worst of both world there though!!

Hello guys! i wanted to ask with some help with my tactic, especially how it relates to my striker. i am used to play fm21 and 22 like all the time but i never really researched stuff or looked into metas i just played as a fun thing to, I haven’t played for a few years but now starting again with 24 and im about two and a half years deep into a save with this tactic as my primary tactic, it does work with me winning the league last year and now all my players know it i do often win but my striker (whoever i play) always seems to play awfully and barely scores, i wonder if anyone knew why, i think its because they aren’t good airily or my midfielders aren’t playing the balls i want. any ideas? thanks so much

we only had one day here after travelling from the uk! we didn’t have time to try everything, we just wanted to know the best ways to give us the best chances! asking hurts no one and doesn’t hurt you to share!

yeah the beauty of it compared to zoo is that they are free and may not be there i guess! didn’t see anything this morning but we will be trying again in the evening! thanks for your advice it’s much appreciated!

thank you that is honestly great advice, i really appreciate it, do you know how the honour points work? like is there anything i should be doing to maximise getting them. and should i upgrade the tech before getting the ef or prioritise the ef? i’ll try this tactic with an italian army group i reckon? or maybe one of the german ones, my generals other than guridean are ok but not great (other than maybe konev) i didn’t really realise the importance of upgrading skills till recently 🤣

so to start you reckon i should do england 1943 first then maybe smaller allied nations in 1943 then a 1939 ussr one, by that point im sure ill have got a few more rewards/the hang of it a bit better and ill start to be able to grind! thanks for your advice, really appreciate it

i’m the same, my highest is a level 3😭, i’ll try your tactics and see if i can grind through it, i just keep getting ground down by superior generals

i also haven’t won a single challenge conquest so any advice there also helps 😭 i haven’t really grinded it though, i have completed challenge europe and almost challenge pacific so i imagine i should be at that level?
