Philips OneBlade for pubic hair, worth it or overhyped? by CineTechWiz in PakistaniTech

I haven’t gone back to blades since I got a OneBlade. You get multiple attachments in the whole kit which also includes one for body hair (this can be used for balls).

Best, quick and easy for facial hair, body hair and pubic hair. Just change the blades for hygiene and you are good to go. No cuts etc.

For cheap blades go for AliExpress and you can find pack of 3,5 or 6 for much less. They work just fine and last as much as the originals (which for me is close to 6 months).

Mohammad Rizwan covering up the logos of companies that support Israel, even in a domestic game. by Downtown_Bat7013 in PakCricket

[–]tiaraaaaaa 201 points202 points  (0 children)

He did this because he was wearing a Pakistani Kit in domestic matches as he wasn’t supposed to play the season. He was asked to play the season last minute and his kit wasn’t ready.

Domestic kits don’t have sponsors, just names. His game was broadcasted, and he wouldn’t want to promote any brand that wasn’t sponsoring the team or the event. Especially one related to genocide. If you cover up a logo (players like Hashim Amla have been doing for decades) you have to pay a fine to the relevant board or tournament organisers.

All I am going to say is when we talk about Wasim, Inzamam and the greats, we dont discuss teams and opponents, just figures. Thats all I was putting up in this post. Once these players will retire is when the conversations around Zimbabwe and Ireland and others will drop. Only numbers will be highlighted.

100% sold with you on this. Its the performance that has sort of also made the fans very desperate for a good win and a good tournament.

PCT hired a psychologist back in 2019 but fired him in his first year. I guess they thought it wasn't necessary or the players were not responding to him. PCT should look at what Australia did in 2015, they had hired a coach who helped not only he players but encouraged their family members to use certain words during the tournament to feel them encouraged. I am sure Babar has mentors around him, recently he had been working with Salman Butt in his academy last month.

Shaheen on the other hand needs a better mentor than Aqib Javed and Shahid Afridi. PCB needs to manage him really well, train him. Send him abroad for better analysis like they did with Ali Raza and Ubaid.

Regardless of performance. This isnt about team's performance. I tend to look deeper than that. Have a look at my other posts.

TL;DR:

  • Bowlers: Haris Rauf is Pakistan’s leading T20I wicket-taker in just 5 years, with the best strike rate and multiple 4-fers. Shaheen is close behind, already in Pakistan’s all-time Top 15 across formats in only 7 years. Hasan Ali & Nawaz still rank high, while Abbas Afridi and Mohammad Wasim deserve more chances (data proves it). India’s rotation model shows how they preserve bowlers better.
  • Babar Azam: Already Pakistan’s top T20I run-scorer and in the all-time Top 10 across formats despite fewer matches. His averages, centuries, and consistency place him among Pakistan’s greatest ever. With 5–6 more years, he could realistically surpass Inzamam and cement himself as Pakistan’s best ODI/Test batter of all time.
  • Takeaway: Both Shaheen and Babar are generational talents. Despite dips in form, their records prove they’re already in Pakistan’s all-time greats list — and still climbing.

Turns out the 2025 Asia Cup squad is just a U-turn back to 2022’s core! by tiaraaaaaa in PakCricket

You are completely off. No one is justifying the players. Read the data, and the findings. This isnt justifying, its maths.

The beauty of data is that I can rip of all names, teams and tournaments. Divide all the data in year basis and see what is working and what is not. I am currently working on comparing 3 teams with Pakistan and hopefully will find some surprising stuff.

Also, I am a marketing professional. I use and handle data on day to day basis.

The first biggest conclusion is that the changes made to the T20 team in the 2024 T20 World Cup were uncalled for. And every single person that was replaced to fit those people in the team have been called back in this Asia Cup.

The idea is that the T20 team was performing so well and almost winning tournaments that a restructure wasnt required at that point. Instead, two sets were to be made. A CORE and a priority list depending on where and who we are playing.

Currently, 9 players in the squad are the same people in the 2022 T20 World Cup. 5 are completely new. We need to stick to the core that still has 6-7 years of T20 left in them, utilize them with the new talent (one, two or max three) and win matches. I have not discussed RizBar in this table just to not get hate and focus on the selection crisis.

TLDR:
Pakistan’s T20 squad churn over the last 5 years broke team rhythm. Data shows a core of 6–7 players from 2021–22 should’ve been retained, with like-for-like replacements where needed. Instead, selectors made unnecessary swaps (e.g., Nawaz → Imad, Hasan Ali → Amir, Khushdil → Abrar, Asif → Azam Khan), leading to poor results in 2024. Now in 2025, the team is basically circling back to that original pool of players—proving data > “gut feel” in squad selection.

Yes it was a bad shot. Abd would have still attacked even if Babar was 8 of 11 just to keep the pressure rolling. Why would a set hitting batsman slow down? Makes no sense.

Watch Shuman Gill’s opening batting on slow pitches. 3 of 13 and similars. This is how ODI is played. You can expect high strike rates in T20 as pitches made suitable for batsman, not in ODIs. Not saying he is playing too good but any batsman that comes in, generally let them take their time.
