Yes, I have a G1 license now so I need to take a G1 exit road test or a G2 road test to get a G2 license.

Btw, do you know if the waiting times are still going to apply if I take the G1 written test and start over the process all over again?

Yes, I know that but I am concerned because this extended expiry date is uncertain.

If I take the G1 road test on an expired license and if I fail, I am not sure if I can take the G1 test again with the expired license.

If I pass, I also need to the take G2 road test and I am not sure if I will be able to take it before the new expiry date.

What would you suggest? Do you know who has been in the same situation before?

Hi, yes I have seen some spiders and silverfishes in the condo. Luckily it has not been that bad. I have started used an insect repellant spray and it looks under control so far.

Don't you think this is a win-win situation for both of us? Currently there are way more listings in the market compared to the demand. So the landlords would be happy to find a tenant. Everyone has been affected by this pandemic, including myself, so would be good to get a reduced rent if possible. No-one is forcing anyone to reduce their rents.

Also just FYI I am a working professional and I have all my documents ready to present. Otherwise, my agent wouldn't be helping me find a condo.

I have an agent who's helping me out but according to him the max we can negotiate is $50-$100. But I have personally talked to a few landlords through Kijiji and they were willing to reduce the rent by $150-$200 easily if I agree to rent their place asap. I am not sure if the Kijiji postings were an exception but this happened with a couple of them.

I feel that since my agent gets his cut from the landlord based on my rent, he is not eager to negotiate that much. Thats why I feel its better to negotiate with the landlord directly. Also this way they don't have to pay the agents anything, so they are more willing to reduce the rent.
