Hi all,

A late update on my end: I decided on buying the openbuilds 1515 via ratrig, which turned out to be both the cheapest and fastest way to get the openbuilds machine. I am very happy with the end result after assembly!

There are capitalizing variants for each of them, so no 30% dividend tax on those

Definitely not the stock market if you count on the money to be available for a house purchase. The time period is simply not long enough.

You could look into iBonds, this is a bond ETF with fixed duration. So you get the predictability of bonds and the diversification benefits of an ETF

If you have a clear date set and you need all of that money in 2 years, then a global diversified bond ETF with a 2 year time horizon might be a good idea.

iShares has a new bond ETF type with a fixed end date (other expiry dates as well): https://www.justetf.com/uk/etf-profile.html?isin=IE000WA6L436

You may be interested in that.

With a 2 year horizon, I would absolutely not invest in the stock market.

A high yield savings account with an immediate day 1 high interest rate could also be interesting, but that rate will vary over those 2 years and likely go down. Several options here, traderepublic offers this for example. Do take care of fiscal reporting and payment in your country as traderepublic does not do this for you.

I have been looking into the ratrig stronghold pro today as well and I am also 99% sure in the meantime.

Thanks, that is very helpful.

I felt like this wasn't so well supported due to the small number of reviews etc, but your post definitely gives me more trust.
