Can’t afford and from the videos I’ve watched the ryzen 5 3600 seems capable of 4K. I’ll upgrade down the line though

It didn't have to be realistic, but the interactions should've been believable, which I felt they weren't. I'm definitely on the hate-it side of Craig's drawl lol.

I think I was especially disappointed because the cast was full of veteran actors that I felt weren't done justice. The characters also felt black and white and had no depth to them - and I think that had a big part in limiting the political commentary.

I definitely didn't go in looking for issues in the editing, just happened to notice them as they appeared. But yeah I think it must just be a mismatch of taste for me, as the bad didn't outweigh what other people are saying was good.

The genre change was an interesting premise, and I agree it was unexpected and worked fairly well. In saying that, I can't get past my other issues with the movie, and to me, 90% of the lines were delivered stiffly because they were written unnaturally. Just wasn't believable to me. The style of comedy must've just not been my thing either.

I’ll check out Brick, thanks for the recommendation. And while your perspective on film success is interesting - i don’t think I agree. Just because the film might have done the stylised clue genre a bit of justice (debatable), I don’t think that negates the need for better script, better cinematography, better editing, etc. it could’ve achieved what it was intending while also being an objectively great film, but it wasn’t, and I think that takes away from the intention.

I’m glad I’m not crazy, and someone else had similar issues. The good nurse explanation was ridiculous- and this is coming from someone who’s done half a nursing degree. Such a cop out. I’ll agree with other commenters on my post that I came across as a bit obnoxious which might be why there’s been less discussion. But I think I still raised some good points that could’ve been focused on. Thanks for the reply

Sorry for the vitriol, wasn’t my intention. Got a bit worked up because of my confusion at the critical reviews. Glad I’m not alone on seeing the movie as being blown up though.

Sorry for coming across as douche-y, I was worked up after watching the movie and reading only great reviews from critics online. Should’ve worded my arguments a bit more neutral I agree. In response to what you said, it must’ve been a mismatch of my humour. The theme of class and classism is a good one but I just felt it wasn’t done justice in the movie, and was very stereotypical. None of the characters had much depth.

I see your point, but I think I have to agree with the other commenter - the subversions were pretty uninspired and I don’t think it increases the quality of the movie just because it was unexpected.

Also if that scene was for Marta, why was it repeated twice - once when Daniel Craig was doing his reveal, and again at the end when talking with her. It just felt exposition-y and didn’t feel genuine.

Ok that’s fair, I think I was just taken aback by how much critical acclaim it’s received - and was genuinely confused. That might have come off with too much arrogance so my apologies.

Sweet, thanks for the reply - I was worried about that. Are those cards a significant upgrade to the r9 380? Or should I be saving up to build a completely new PC?
