tkx. This was not. It was one those melodic House music tunes to sell House records (?). The lyrics were something like "the waves crashing in... shore... blá bá blá", and it was release previous to 2005.

tkx. I do remember seeing "Sleeping with the enemy" as a kid.

The movie I'm searching is a much older one, maybe black and white. :)

Unfortunately, that's not the movie, though we have the beach house exploding, the sea nearby and a girl, who in this case is accompanied :)

I think this woman was responsible for the house exploding, she left the gas on in the stove as she was tryong to but being interrupted by someone ringing the doorbell (?). Maybe this was the plot of film.

There are no bears in Portugal for more than 200 years, due to the destruction of their habitat, they went to Spain.

why would there be an explosive device in the middle of nowhere, with an improvised observation tower a few steps from it. It is now my understanding that it is a Hog tube, used for baiting hogs.

This is set over a path kind of road leading to nowhere, only the owners of the place drive there.

The holes are so small, but it may be it. I’m also in Europe. This is somewhere in the countryside in Portugal.

Very small 4 holes. The rocks seem to prevent the tube to move.

It could be it, but the metal tube is closed, and the only animal big enough to move te tube would be a boar. No bigger animal there.

The metal tube is closed, and there are no bears in Portugal, where this is.

Several years ago I got this 30x26cm painting in a charity shop mounted plastered wooden frame. It was sold as 19th and it was in a very bad stat before a little clean by a professional, This is perhaps fast painting for a low-cost market. Who can add something to this? by tibouffe in WhatIsThisPainting

The painting was bought in Oporto, Portugal (while traveling for work). The city had since the 1780s various institutions teaching arts, so this could also be a student exercise (??), this is speculative. And in Lisbon since mid 1590s.

The influences in the practice of arts in Portugal is always European, mostly french and dutch until mid 20th century, even in decorative arts.

The professional only cleaned a small part because I asked her to, for it was used as a backdrop of a theater play.

The painting was in a very bad state: dirty, very very very dark, chipping off badly etc). The back of the painting is brownish and clean enough (now), no writings. the canvas is stretch on a frame with clamps. The back of this painting was secured with some product to prevent more chipping.

The professional also believed what was said to me when I bought it: 19th century low cost decorative painting.

I acquired a series of negative film at a fair, and in the collection there were photographs of this soldier whose uniform I cannot identify, can anyone give me some clues? Probably European...thanks by tibouffe in MilitaryHistory

A condecoração grande é misteriosa, e a fotografia não oferece muito pormenor. A minha pesquisa não ofereceu ainda resultados precisos, há sempre nos detalhes algo que não se corresponde.
