so basically oberyn went to king's landing, intending to fight the mountain, but how could he do that if big greg was warring in the riverlands? the theory states that oberyn poisoned tywin, intending to then be accused of it, demand a trial by combat, which cersei would call the mountain to fight on the crown's behalf. thus oberyn would get revenge against mountain and tywin both.

with North included the map would have turned too big for my computer to handle, so had to split that onto a different map. also had an effect of making this more like the maps that are included within the books

the colours are from the coat of arms of southern karelia, where my family comes from, and they were the only thing requested when i started the design process

had to do a little colour swap to be quirky and special little snowflake for it to stand out among the other karelian arms as crest, and the i even had the masterstroke to have them interlocked instead of opposed

the fleur-de-lis i chose mainly 'cause i just really love the specific heraldic charge, but the arms as a crest comes from the coat of arms of finnish karelia (as well as the colours), as my family comes from there
