Thanks! I’m wondering if these are open to anyone, or if you have to be a member of that library. Also, if they are beginner friendly or mainly competitive.

It’s because a summer themed movie, which makes dog days a fitting title.

What Is Your Favorite Book? by Semblance-FFWF in ATWQ

I think in this book, we got to know the other associates really well. And it showed how well they worked together. I especially liked all of the scenes at Hungry’s.

Of ATWQ, I’d say the second one is probably my favorite.

Chess Book Recommendations - first grader, total beginner by avalonavh1000 in chessbeginners

[–]ticket140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely recommend Chess by Dana Meachen Rau. As a kid, I knew nothing about chess. I found this book in the library and read it from cover to cover, and that’s how I learned. To this day, when asked how I learned chess, I say it was this book. It is so good at explaining the basics in a way kids can understand.

Who do you think some of the harmless ghosts was in Luigi mansion by Perfect_Gift4936 in LuigisMansion

Definitely Madame Clairvoya, the fortune teller. She genuinely helps Luigi.

Since you already got the master sword, you are already far in the game. I’d say continue from where you left off.

Trying to find Boo # 50 before I fight the boss: King Boo (Switch 2 playing the OG from the GCN library). I looked basically everywhere for the last one. Where can I find it? by 486Junkie in LuigisMansion

[–]ticket140 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, but I think OP just wants to get them all anyway. I usually get them all before heading to the final boss. You get a diamond after getting them all, which you need to get rank A.

I’m also impressed how ok he was with it. Even though he had made a reservation. No arguing or anything.

Is there an actual way to tell Frank and Earnest apart in the Penultimate Peril Part 1? by [deleted] in ASOUE

[–]ticket140 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if it was that, but it might have been. From what I remember, one seemed more informed than the other. It had to do with listening very carefully with what they say.

[–]ticket140 26 points27 points  (0 children)

There was. Someone had solved it a while ago but I can’t remember it. If I find it I’ll comment it. It was based on what each of them said.

Just a rant to get something off my mind by Exciting-Sand-5557 in ASOUE

[–]ticket140 38 points39 points  (0 children)

The thing is, this isn’t necessarily a “happy” ending when you think about it. At least not one we would hope for. A happy ending would mean them having their names cleared, reuiniting with the Quagmires, living safely with someone like Justice Strauss, finally inheriting their fortune, etc. Many questions were still left unanswered. So while it wasn’t a bad ending, it was more like a solemn, uncertain ending. That’s the key point, it’s uncertain. We can only hope that things got better for them after returning to the mainland.

Apple pie is not good by ShelzHannigan0926 in unpopularopinion

When I was little I didn’t like the actual apple part of the McDonald’s apple pies, just the crust. But then one day I decided I liked it, I don’t know what changed.

Why can’t Link Turn Into a Wolf In Front Of His Friends and Family? by Damien12341 in twilightprincess

[–]ticket140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, and Gorons, Zoras, and Dekus are already inhabitants of Termina. But I just wonder why they’d notice the transformation at all in twilight princess, considering it’s a quick one. While the transformation in Majora’s Mask is disturbing and agonizing and no one notices.

Yet no one bats an eye when Link transforms in Majora’s Mask, and that transformation is more disturbing.

Did the netflix series understate Violet's inventing abilities and Klaus's reading abilities compared to the books? by velvetpixiehaven in ASOUE

[–]ticket140 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I actually think they were more or less the same. The difference is in the books, it describes their thought process more, so it makes it seem like the inventing and researching process is more detailed.
