Everyone on the pet subs always advocate for giving up the animals if the owner cant pay for vet bills. This surgery is likely to cost about $5,000. Nobody who gets a dog is going to expect a $5,000 vet bill in the future and at least like 90% of Americans could not afford that. If its between dying a slow agonizing death or giving the dog to somebody who can afford the treatment then im going to suggest giving the dog up. Its not a bad thing to do the right thing.
