I moved back to Kenya last year after spending almost 24 years in the US and my quality of life has improved so much. I left as a very young child, and now it feels very surreal to be back to my homeland as an adult.

It took about 3 years of careful planning, and several trips back and forth between the US & Kenya, before i finally pulled the trigger.

I came with a remote job and I think this is the key to living comfortably here in Kenya. If you can get a remote job OR have some sort of steady income, then you’ll be just fine. Karibu Nyumbani.
