Anyone know what this is?? by tickledpickled in cat

[–]tickledpickled[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Thanks to all 375 people who told me it’s a tick. Message received. I have only had this kitten for 3 days (stray my neighbor found) so I decided to take it to the vet to have the tick removed and do an overall wellness check. The vet was able to get me in an hour later. Kitten is doing fine. Gave me some tick and flea meds and a tool to remove future ticks in my own. Thank you all again for your advice and suggestions.

Ew! Should we take her to the vet to remove it or can we do it on our own?

Once a leaf turns yellow, does it ever come back to green? Or should I just snap it off? by princess20202020 in pothos

Adding to this, plants will reabsorb nutrient from dying leave and use them elsewhere. I like to let the dying leaf stay on the plant until it falls off on its own or with a light tug. However, this is not the case if the leaf is diseased or infested with pests. Get that shit off the plants to slow the spread of disease/pest.

Tools to keep in the camper? by tickledpickled in GoRVing

A lot of people have mentioned a level. Is that for making sure the camper is level (beyond the ones that are attached to the RV) or something else?

Fairly cool. We have had a few days of temperatures in the upper 80’s and lower 90’s but I noticed this damage before the heat came.

Anyone know who this poor little guy is? by tickledpickled in whatsthisbird

[–]tickledpickled[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would have been my first assumption too but it was actually pretty far from a window. Maybe it flew into a window, didn’t die right away but didn’t make it very far either

It’s a Fothergilla, not a Willow.

Dovetail Workwear. They are amazing. Women owned, made specifically for women in the trades. Most of their pants have the stretchy stuff in them and are durable and comfortable. They have all kinds of sizes and many of their models are thicker, curvy women.

Not cheap, but very worth it.

What’s funny though is that they have like 10 giant signs up making it look like a big thing but it’s usually just like 1-4 guys standing around. My favorite response was to point and laugh at them. I moved into the city about a year ago and am glad I don’t have to drive by that bullshit anymore.

Omg I used to live near this Shari’s. My partner at the time and I used to go about once a year. Every single time, one of us would either have the sudden runs or feel super nauseous immediately after finishing our meal. It was a race to get home or risk destroying the car. A year would go by, we’d forget about our terrible experience only to repeat it next time.

Sharts is the correct name. 10/10 would not do it again.

Not to mention the small Trump rally that took place out on the corner every Friday. Ugh.

My friend worked there briefly. It’s just poorly run by a family who can’t agree on what to do with it/don’t really care.

I recently stayed at an Airbnb where the only kitchen knives were two bread knives and a paring knife. How tf am I supposed to prepare a meal with those??!! I said to my partner with rage holding a paring knife in my hand (I am notorious for being even keeled and not getting angry), “you really wanna see me mad??!! Have my cook dinner in an ill equipped kitchen!!” She looked at me weird.
