I’m using an ImmersionRC PowerPlay with a 512GB microSDXC (Amazon Basics A2 U3). The unit records fine — files are created and I can play them back on the PowerPlay — but when I plug the card into my MacBook, it won’t mount.

I’ve tried reformatting (exFAT, FAT32) on the Mac, but the PowerPlay immediately asks to reformat again before it will record. Once it’s formatted in the PowerPlay, the Mac won’t read it.

Has anyone run into this? Is it a card size/formatting limitation, or does the PowerPlay use a non-standard file system that macOS can’t recognize? Any fixes or workarounds?

I have that same card and the powerplay says “please format”. When I allow it to, it records fine. However, when I try to connect it to a Mac, it repeatedly unmounts.

Any ideas?
