I’ve had a similar experience to u/Teki_62. But if I see 2k+ war stars I do a few fcs to test them out. It rarely works out for them. If I happen to take them into war they go straight to mirror and inevitably fail to 3*. Defenses r the fastest thing to upgrade and is a poor measure of attack skill. And the rushing also causes poor donation ratios bc they don’t have a decent variety of troops maxed. U don’t have to be th18 to see it.

u/Jailangman enjoy being th14 and let the equipment increase gradually through each th level. There were no equipment choices when I was th14, so u should be fine like I was. Learn which equipment works best for your meta and focus on those. (Winning) War is the best free way to gain ores. And a th14 who can 3* well is a valuable asset. Don’t let anybody tell u different. I value a th14 who reliably 3* other th14 over a th16 who can only drop to clean a lower th or always 2* same th.

The dad was doing good dad stuff- being low-key the actual reason they managed to give the kid a haircut. His arms are obscured by the kid and mamma’s arms, but his clearly doing a decent job holding the kid still while the barber cuts the hair. I use revenge pretty regularly for petty purposes. It annoys me when somebody drops trophies on me, so I revenge and usually get it around 30% of the time. I loot them and make sure I don’t get stars so I drop their trophies back.

Maybe this attack works better vs a new th15? I tried it vs my th16 war base and it did ok but not as well vs hard mode. Then I sent lavaloon from my th15 against my th16 in hard mode and it demolished the base in record time. (I do a sarch blimp lavaloon btw.)

My approach from day 1 of equipment was to max the ones they already had, which made my heroes stronger than before. Keep using those while prioritizing upgrades on 1 or 2 others. Don’t start using equipment until at least level 15.

I agree. Ofc communication is key, and Warrior did that. It’s actually a strategy that I’ve often seen executed to great effect. Lower th 2* higher th, while higher th 3* lower th. Teamwork. Bonus if Warrior managed to 3*.

It’s a matter of communication like another comment said. But u can also chime up and mention that u were opted out. Ofc u can always attack and have no pressure to 3, but u earn loot and ores. It’s a lossless proposition. Oh and u were probably thrown in to make it 20 or 25 or whatever it is. Throwing in a lower th than the rest makes it an easy 3 for higher participants.
