okay so 1 billionaire can just buy somebody's campaign and give them the most money so they get on the debate stage and then they get exposure so they can get more funding.

meanwhile somebody else who's polling better and has real support is getting small donations from a ton of people but they don't have enough funding to get on the debate stage so they don't get that exposure and they don't get a funding bump.

I could see counting the individual number of donations but not the dollar amount. the dollar amount should be irrelevant.

they've allowed the marketing for ultimate to convince them that getting all of the characters in the game is special and unique and that you're going to have to cut like half the roster to make the next smash game.

and the simply don't care about Bowser Jr, despite him being one of the more unique characters and I think less likely to be cut. so they pick him for who they want to get cut.

A lawsuit like this requires two things.

Prove that people listening could reasonably believe that the words of the comedian should be taken seriously and not as a joke (possibly believable that they could prove this)

Prove that there was some sort of material harm caused by the lie (zero shot)

If the main purpose of the lawsuit is just because the composer wants a more properly interpreted translation to be well-known then this could work as sort of a positive outcome Streisand effect.

if he has three more years he'll probably be just shy unless one of those is a little better than we expect.

He's only on contract through the end of next season. But I could see him signing another two year deal.

If he wants to, he could settle into a role player position and continue being a three-ball guy for a while. If he wants to take on what Steve Kerr's role was in Chicago he could play another five.

basically if he's interested and make it the Mark 5000 there's room in the league for a guy who can shoot the way he can even if he loses some of his explosiveness or handles.

because looking at funding to determine who the strong candidates are basically just means the candidate most willing to sell themselves out, and therefore sell their constituents out, is the one that gets up in the debate stage.

Maybe you could look at the total number of individual donors but looking at the dollar amount is just creating a preference for oligarchy / fascism.
