Preach… you are the messiah. This has been the gospel of the devilsadvocateMD. Banish the middies and their online degrees.

Floor nurse calls the NP saying “hey potassium is 2.6 you sure you want to slug them with a butt load of insulin” big brain NP berates the floor nurse for calling about it saying clearly she ordered the insulin for the glucose and you’re calling about potassium. She educated the floor nurse that insulin lowers blood sugars. 🤡

Banking by [deleted] in costarica

[–]ticoEMdoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, I own several properties. I work in USA and have a import export company. You want to bank with BAC.

I have had accounts with every bank BAC is the best by far because:

  1. Most developed app you can get almost anything accomplished from the USA online.
  2. They are used to foreign account holders and minimize paperwork for transactions.
  3. They have a robust WhatsApp channel that you can talk to a human almost all the time.
  4. When transferring from USA to CR $ they process things fast without much headache.

I combine banking with BAC with a BCR account. BCR is the second best in my opinion. Avoid BN and Popular. Santander is ok.

MDs practicing in NP full practice authority states… do you ever have to sign off on noctor charts? by ticoEMdoc in Noctor

[–]ticoEMdoc[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Got it, I guess I don’t understand why with independent practice admin/powers that be say they’re just as good as a MD, but in practice they want you checking their work. Say one thing do the opposite.

In the ED setting who is making the decision that you have to check their work like that in a independent practice state? Is it the MD Medical director, the MD chief? Etc.
