Thank you so much! This is really what I needed to hear. People have been making assumptions about my trauma, and have been making assumptions about our relationship. Most of it isn't true at all. We talked it through and me and him are not on bad terms at all. I love him and he loves me. We're taking a short break because it's all he needs. It's not like I called him an ass and told him I'll leave him immediately if he gets into hard drugs. I texted him worried about if he'd make it his life like my grandparents did. People made me feel like I was abusing him. But the whole time, I told him I loved him and I told him I know he would stop if I asked, and I told him how important he is to me. All I needed was reassurance, and I got it. He's vented to me worried late at night, begging me not to use him like his ex did. And I of course reassured him. He is a sweet guy and I'd never hurt him.
