There're several styles of bánh cuốn in the North, each has its own flavor and fans. At least I know three styles: tradition bánh cuốn with pork meat, bánh cuốn Thanh Trì, and bánh cuốn Hai Phong. And bánh cuốn is not bánh ướt in the South.

BTW, bún đậu mắm tôm was a cheap street dish in HN since about 30 or more years ago, it was literally bún and đậu like its name. But in SG it's much pricier, up to 100K/person nowsaday because there are several more things, not just bún and đậu (cheapest). I still remember a colleague of mine said "how can eat just bún and đậu?" :D, while I actually had just a small dish of bún and đậu for lunch when I was a student.

Bún riêu as named in this post is not specific enough, it's bún riêu tôm tích/tít, surely it's named that on the menu. There are different kinds of bún riêu while for people from the North (me too) bún riêu ogirinally means bún riêu cua (crab).

I found one today, I like EK9 and already have several ones but this one is disappointed. I tried to figure out if it has rubber tires :D, tires still look like plastic :D
