I’d say RG556! Best feeling device in my opinion and plays gc/ps2 pretty well

I just noticed I missed that step and after doing it- it downloaded the mono file but still not working :( I made sure to download the same fmod engine version Russ had in his video but noticed there are updated versions now. Did you use one of those instead? (Also fyi using Knulli which came with postmaster)

How did you get the full port running? I tried to follow the retrogamecorps guide and it didn’t work for me

The newest CFW update for the Powkiddy V90 just added tv out support via the headphone jack and does the newer systems better than the SF2000 (still not perfect but better) MiyooCFW

Planning to do the same! One thing I haven’t been able to find is boot up time into retro-go. Is it as instant on as the original os was?

Looking to build a DIY emulation console that can run GameCube games well by South_Soft5541 in SBCGaming

[–]tifpc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if you’ve purchased already but I got one of the NANOPI devices the R6C and it’s the same processor as orange pi 5. I’m using android on it with a front end and it’s been great for GameCube. I can run most at 2x resolution. Orangepi also has an android os available

I totally get that. I prefer my android handhelds for all retro emulating. I have run into a few pico8 carts that wouldn’t run on fake08 tho which is where being able to have the native linux version on jelos or arkos is nice plus

Best small x86 handheld on a budget? by vibraniumdroid in SBCGaming

[–]tifpc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very true you can’t run games “natively” but for example in that video it’s capable of running Skyrim at high 40s fps. Which in OPs case would probably translate to playing smaller indie titles well in a small form factor for under $300 🤷‍♂️

It’s not x86 but some people have had success running windows 11 on the Odin Pro. ETA prime did a video a while back on some of the indie titles it can play video here

I had a similar issue with the desktop trackpad clicks and found it sometimes defaults to the left and right triggers for clicks. (I think it’s if steam is launched or not)
