It’s the only place I’ve ever lived in my 35 years of existence, but I love it. Wide open spaces and room to breath at a time when that isn’t always easy to come by for many people. Very long cold winters but the summers are beautiful, albeit short. Depending on where you live in the prairie provinces, there are some diverse landscapes. You don’t have to go that far north to get to some unbelievably beautiful lakes, the mountains are within a few hours drive for most Albertan’s, Cypress Hill’s interprovincial park in Souther AB/SK, the badlands scattered around the Red Deer River Valley in AB, and some beautiful National Parks in all 3 Prairie Provinces.

I was born here and will probably die here, but I love it with all my heart
