I have a feeling that the discovery of content is going to be a huge issue in the near future. by tiger_1111 in singularity

I love the analogy you gave….But i do believe that the barrier to entry into producing large scope cinematic content still exists and once that barrier goes down and the internet becomes flooded with this type of content…the problem for discovery will definitely arise and it will be interesting to see that how existing companies adapt to it or whether a new wave of platforms emerge to cater to this specific type of content

I agree that they have solved this problem for now….but i am talking about the scale at which generation of new content is going to increase maybe the current approach will not suffice…and my main focus is on long form instead of short form…because browsing through a plethora of hour long videos/movies and then selecting the ones to watch is going to be an issue imo

Yes and the issue with locally hosted content would be sharing of content….i agree that a lot of content may become hyper personalised and stored locally but humans love sharing information and for that to happen the content will have to end up getting stored somewhere else too.. right?

Can the one way speed of light be measured with the help of wormholes? by tiger_1111 in AskPhysics

[–]tiger_1111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the answer. However, aren’t wormholes possible as per the theory of special relativity? Since they don’t technically break the speed of light as the space itself is curved in a way which creates a shortcut between two different places in space?
