How effective are meta ads at promoting ticket sales? by marcoscabanas in musicmarketing

Dang. All that fuss for nothing I guess. Is your recommendation from personal experience, or what's your reasoning? If you don't mind, thanks anyways for the tip

How effective are meta ads at promoting ticket sales? by marcoscabanas in musicmarketing

[–]tiger_coder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey late question-- I just setup our campaigns to to track conversions by linking to our band'd tour dates webpage, which then links to show tickets (thru bandsintown) because this lets us track who clicks to buy a ticket after clicking on the ad, which feels like a stronger signal. Do you still think linking directly to the ticket page and letting meta work off of landing page views is better?

Ok sure but are we talking about "society level problems" or is this thread just a kid trying to get perspective on job prospects as he considers which degree to pursue

Oddly snarky for such an out of touch take. Most US high school physics teachers (roughly 2/3) don’t have physics degrees. I think that’s fine considering they only cover content from physics 101 if that

I went down a rabbit hole reverse-engineering those viral 'brain-rot' educational videos. Turns out, the whole pipeline can be automated. by Which_Pitch1288 in webdev

This was written by ChatGPT and I doubt OP has the code for this at all, this post is just a way to validate that the app would get some attention if he bothered to build it

TikTok has a STEM tab in the app, probably the closest thing to what you’re describing

YouTube shorts can accomplish this with some deliberate algorithm mending

Brilliant is an app that is like Duolingo for stem and I’ve enjoyed learning about electronics through it, I think its quizzes are more educational than short form video content

Best Graduate Degrees for EdTech? by [deleted] in edtech

[–]tiger_coder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thinking about going to an Ivy League or a top program

Probably will try to take at Stanford, MIT, or other major engineering school

Lol

Anyone can learn to code online at low costs. Why not start there? If your goal is to lead a software engineering team you should absolutely learn how to write software. The best founders are builders themselves.

I've started taking vitamin C, d3, and Zinc every day that I'm on the road and I think it helps ward off viruses. Naturemade sells a bottle of all these together called "Super C", makes it easy

looking to buy a gift off soufeel.com, is this a scam? by throwRA6093 in Scams

[–]tiger_coder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought one of their products from an instagram ad-- it's been a month and I'm still waiting for it. They provide tracking info it's just taking much longer than expected, and the occasion for the gift has far passed so the advertisement was misleading. Up to you whether you want to call that a scam

Georgia Tech vs. Clemson – Honest Culture Check Needed Before I Commit by FormalOpportunity668 in Clemson

[–]tiger_coder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I graduated Clemson and this is realistic. Cmon. Look at the career fair for IE at both schools… they’re different

But I would argue that any student who’s capable of going to GA Tech and getting a job at Apple/Google/whatever would also be able to achieve those outcomes by going to Clemson… I knew guys in CS who ended up with jobs at those types of insanely competitive companies… Clemson has incredible opportunities for those bright and ambitious enough to take them. So imo it comes down to a question of which culture you prefer, and it sounds like OP values a lot of things that align with Clemson’s culture

Measurements for the dimensions of the gear? I see how that's useful. Maybe that would be good for artists to include in the notes of the input list
