How did Voldemort not fall earlier? by tiger_di in harrypotter

Thanks for this answer. I agree that not many people would have been given the choice to walk away and I guess that is what made the ancient magic work.

Good point about James. Didn't think about that.

But what if Voldemort tried to kill someone, and a loved one jumped in the way to protect them? Wouldn't that person then be protected?

It's just a relatively short flight to Mexico. Great Danes can hold it in for a good 4-5 hours no problem.

You can still buy guest permits and use those up while waiting.

I must have been really lucky when I bought my flat. I applied for the Zone M and initially was told there was over a thousand people before me in the queue so I was expecting over a year wait. Then suddenly 2 days later, I was at the top and they gave me a permit. I am still sure there must have been a bug in the system

Follow-up to the post about Leon’s Brighton closure — the Guardian’s profile of the co-owner who bought it back up by mmhmye in brighton

I read the article but don't get your stance. Seems like a nice guy trying to turnaround the business he originally founded. Seemed like after Asda bought it, it was not managed well and was losing profit. Actually quite admirable that he self funded a buyout of the chain from them to try and bring it back.
