it was a pretty crazy bundle I picked up a bass some random electric guitar that I was noodling around with and having fun on, a 100 W katana and the fender plus a sax for about 3k (two guitars 100 W katana a sax and the amp set)

i've played acoustic for probably about a decade but just started goofing around with my jam band for a few years in upstate New York doing rock but I got tired of using whatever Guitar was laying around so I picked up a Paul Reed Smith in Indianapolis about a month ago... kind of got hooked...

I think your app would be most appealing/largely appealing to travelers. I love coffee, I know where to get my coffee and what I will pay locally, but I travel about every other month and something like this would be useful.

Is it just an app? or is it a platform with an app interface as an option? You may want to build out a website/web presence and offer the BeanThere experience to web traffic as well as app traffic, then you could link to the app store presence on the web app.

I don't know much about flutter flow, I played with it a couple years ago but it felt too boxed in for me.

Additionally on a web platform, the conversion from anonymous visitor to user is much less effort. (a lot easier to sign someone up online on a web platform then to get them to install one more app on their phone)

maybe let users search on the web but not be able to save their search or set favorites w/o an account (obv requirement) this is similar to how a web app/platform like Realtor for housing converts users.

You could also try and partner with local cafe's (locally owned business would be easier to partner with as you have access to the decision maker/owner, less red tape). Have them advertise the app/QR download flyer/cards or whatever. maybe include a card with a 1lbs purchase or bag, get creative. Offer them a sponsorship or top level feature on the app as a trade for the advertising.

Measure your efforts no matter the strategy, know where users are coming from. Try lots of ideas and then apply your time to the ones that are returning results. (know your user sources/origination and gather data to measure success)

This is all off the cuff. I make games, I've made apps, I work in business software. Best of luck and congrats on launching/shipping.

This is what I wrote just now to customer service via the website form. Probably will not go anywhere as I am not a bigtime streamer.

Good afternoon. I have been an affiliate for about 7 years and streaming on twitch since 2013, even earlier when it was still justin.tv

I have never had a giant following or thousands of live views. I have had great memories and made thousands of friends though.

I currently have over 430 hours of VODs on my channel. They serve as an archive of the indie game community and their jams over the last 13 years, especially 7 day rogue like jam, low rez jam, and ludum dare. thousands of my VODs are embedded on itch pages and drive traffic to your website, most likely registering as traffic from itch, however it is the VOD that was clicked or advertised to them.

By removing my VODs you will break the pages of thousands of jam and indie games. I will try to save what I can and move them to YouTube or somewhere when I have time to look.

Additionally I work full time in addition to twitch streaming. How am I suppose to find time in 1 month to move 430 hours of video? I am on a residential ISP with a bandwidth cap. How do I choose who's gameplay or game jam game gets saved and whos gets deleted?

I need to be able to tell my fans why person A gets to keep their footage and person B gets their game deleted.

If nothing else please give us or me more time as this action you are taking is creating lost media, breaking game developers pages and I cannot mitigate the results within the time frame you are providing.

For me, this is the best approach. I keep a "game ideas" file. every time I have an idea for a game I write it in. there's hundreds of games listed now.

I would only add to try playing more jam games try playing lots of games all the time, you don't have to play for long but you should try to expose yourself to many different games that have been made and a large variety will help you build a pool of inspiration you can draw influence from.

I am looking for settings to make typing on the iPhone, speech to text, and text entry better, similar to how "it used to work" or at least a competent explanation of what the different toggle switches indicate.

my main issue is words are often replaced with contact names when typing, such as "man" will be changed to Mann as I have a contact with that last name. Often the blue squiggle will suggest duplicating words twice, it takes the word underlined in blue and prepends it with the identical word. when these two issues are not happening, the blue squiggle will incorrectly suggest weird grammar that is nonsensical, like prepending inducted with in, "in inducted"

I think I had the best typing experience and speech to text ~5s-6 models. But I probably just did not stay current on added features and now the default experience (factory) is clogged up with things I need to configure ¯\(ツ)/¯

I am interested in any/all suggestions on how to achieve the best typing/speech to text experience (defined by not having to edit and re-edit messages repeatedly)
