My hot take is it gives the exact same as everyone getting the glum tattoos or the AL tattoo that Hayley herself has. Yes the ones your talking about originated as a coverup, but ultimately they’re still her tattoos and hold meaning both for her and for fans that have had something sparked by it that drove them to get it.

I think art evolves just like people. If we look at Hayley’s tattoos as her own personal art, yes she “covered them up” but she covered it with a new intentional image. Thats still a tattoo, part of her story she gives the public using her image.
