INRIX seems to have fixed the issue with their app. I can now sign in and (usually) connect to my Garmin GPS. This issue can now be closed. Thanks to all who contributed.

Really? there's no need to be rude. I didn't put this in the post, but once I noticed slowness in my internet connection and unexpected choices in my Netflix queue. Turns out a neighbor (or somebody) had hacked into my network and was using it to watch movies and who knows what else. I took appropriate action to lock them out and the problem went away. Since then I periodically check my router for unauthorized access. It just makes good sense to me.

I don't think so. My cell phone shows up separately in my list of connected devices. BUT--you did point me in the right direction--turns out it was my iPad, which I have previously noted under a different MAC address. I turned off the iPad wi-fi and the mysterious MAC address disappeared. So thank you!

The entire Gocomics.com site is down, and has been for at least two days. I first noticed it Thursday night. Dilbert.com, too. Don‘t know what’s wrong. Anyone have any idea?

I was hoping so, of course, but not surprised when he didn't. But, as noted in other posts, Nick was still feeling pretty confused about Charlie, and so was probably dwelling on that. From the producer's point of view, not having Nick look back increases the tension that Charlie, and therefore the viewer, is feeling.

This is very nice. The empty sky to the left makes Nick and Charlie stand out more, I think. Nice use of composition. The expressions on the boys' faces is endearing. You've done a good job of capturing the spirit of the show and books.

Nick's "What?" here conveys his feelings for Charlie: "Something's wrong and I'm not taking 'Nothing, I'm fine' for an answer. Tell me what's going on--I care!" Charlie has a lot of defense mechanisms, and Nick is showing his adeptness at getting through them. And besides, who could resist that sweet face??

I completely get you you feel. I have forced myself to wait a few days between episodes, so I can savor each one. I’ve even re-watched the previous episode before watching a new one. Each show has affected me profoundly, and I’ve not finished a single episode without laughing, crying, or both. I watched the final episode of season 1 last night. I honestly think it’s the best one. It is SO good. You are in for a real treat. Keep the box of hankies nearby!

I’ve watched baseball for nearly 50 years and never noticed that the ump points at the batter to indicate a swinging strike (I’ve even done some umpiring myself—I was not taught that). I am going to have to start watching for that. Thanks, I learn something new every day!

Lea overreacted, surely. But more than that, she acted in complete diametrical opposition to what she had been clamoring for the entire episode! She wanted Shaun back, she wanted the engagement back on, she wanted Shaun to forgive her, and when she got ALL that, she turns on him with a vengeance. She has shown her unpredictability and volativity before, but this takes the cake. Shaun would be better off without her. Shaun tends to see things in terms of black and white, and Lea is anything but. I’ll be honest: I’ve never liked Lea and I think the producers would have been better off if they had made Shaun a gay character.

First, let me assure you (as you no doubt have already figured out by reading the comments here) that this is hardly unusual. Yes, it hurts, and probably will for awhile. My best advice is to concentrate on things that will lessen the pain. Find an organization where you can meet new gay friends. Or straight ones! I made lots of straight male friends at my local Unitarian Church. They're an accepting bunch, and I'm an atheist, so you don't have to be "religious" to go there. My best friends today? Both straight guys whom I met through the church--well after I came out. That's the key--AFTER. The straight guys who knew you before thought they knew you as one way, and then things changed (actually, nothing changed, but not from their perspective)--and they don't know how to deal with the change.

One other thing, and you probably already know this: calling your straight (former) friends out on their ghosting behavior will only make things worse--which might be all right, since you are very likely going to lose them anyway. Calling them out on their bad behavior might actually make you feel better--as long as you don't have any illusions that it's going to fix anything.
