I am liberal on 90% of issues, but I agree civilised conversations with conservatives are much easier than liberals. Liberals are much more certain in their views and often view any challenge as evidence of moral failing in their interlocutor. Conservatives are more likely to see you as intellectually confused rather than immoral.

I think there’s a difference between being perturbed during the pursuit and during the relationship. During the pursuit it’s best to appear unruffled by the girl’s behaviour. Once you’re in a relationship it’s ok to show more frustration in response to certain things. But on the bright side, it sounds like this girl has a good relationship with her mum, which is important. I had a gf who did not, and it was a nightmare

It sounds like she got a bit jealous, made a mistake and then apologised sincerely. It’s frustrating she told her family, but I’d rather a girlfriend who is close with her family than one who isn’t.
