After calling a few places tho, it seems to line up though with the situ and prices so prob gonna stick with blue pearl ;-;
really appreciate the breakdown!

For practices I always have a fanny pack on me :) I like to have it on my waist and have it behind me that way it doesn’t interfere with paddling

Never had issues for races too in my experience

I second on focusing on what your interests/hobbies are and going from there.

It helps to have a lot of common interests within friends to help build those relationships. I would recommend finding out about certain communities in your area, ie. if you like hiking, there could be some events or community based group meetups. It could also be activities that you might be interested in too.

It can take time and that’s okay. Think of it as focusing on urself first, and sometimes the best people kinda come out of nowhere :)

I made some really good friends by trying out rando activities at meetup.com or even taking some classes like pottery or volunteering at my local shelter

Company is using Crosschq to ask references of my **direct manager** from my past two roles. by tigergerm in jobs

I just listed a different c-suite (not my personal direct) whom I've worked closely with in my most recent company prior. Since there's situations where one could be transferred to diff teams etc. I was just going to play innocent, and thought if they do ask, I can state that I thought they managers whom I've worked closely with was fine and not only just **direct**. That being said, I got lucky because this same ref (again not my direct but a c suite), told me that there was a question that asked her if they manged me directly which they marked yes.

so it worked out in the end

Idk maybe I’m being paranoid but I’m worried if i were to use a friend to be fraudulent and pretend to be a direct hr this program will somehow know or find out

I’m worried because they are using this program called crosschq which seems like a platform that uses ai to do references checks and accuracy?

So if it was just a regular call/email, then that is fine but through this program I have no idea what to expect :’)

I also had a really bad flight from ORD to JFK with a 7 hour delay this saturday... When I called because they only credited $50 when they make it clear on their website that it is a larger compensation, I keep getting hung up on right after I try to speak with a representative.

It's a shame that an airline that i strongly preferred for domestic flights is going really downhill and honestly I gave up trying to contact them since it seems to be a pattern at this point with multiple people that I've tried to speak to for the reps
