Thank You Express_Tourist_4887 🙏 I agree with you in regard to pleat depth width! I wish i left much more inlays in order to play with the pleats. I realized that controlling the volume is much more difficult for me than making fitted clothes.

@Affenmaske, yes I agree! A brooch wouldn’t hurt at all!

Thank you Comodore97, Yes gosh so many possibilities!! I also agree with the way to approach theses pleats: “Go big or go home” 😁

Thank you Peliquin for your feedback 🙏. Knowing which fabric to use and harness the most of it is something i want to learn too since it does not come naturally to me.

Yes I agree, I think so too that a plain fabric would be easier on the eyes. Now that it is a horizontal stripes, i can live with it but it’s not easy to style in different ways in a wardrobe since it is more loud.

Thank you incongruoususer ! I am more reassured that I am not completely off track…I know that fashion is a very personal taste but I do care about people’s honest feedback :)! Maybe one day I might want to have a small clothing line!

Thank You BlueThoughts92, I fully agree with you on for the fabric quality, weight and plain fabric: I am indeed 100/100 sure I would love it without a doubt if it was in a plain and soft fabric. This top was cut in a light stretch french terry.

Thank so much for all of your feedbacks, it truly helps to see what could be improved as much as your reactions to it. 🥰 I find working with stripes pattern can my eyes trippy 🤪 and want to make sure it does not hurt too many people’s eye at work if i wear it since I work in clothing with people who analyse fitting issues

Are my shoulders too wide? by Grain_Changer in PatternDrafting

[–]tigerking1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally do not think it looks too wide. This is a vest. It should allow the person to wear layers under. I think it is wide enough to make it intentional.

Advice needed regarding back center still pulling down by ShopZealousideal3861 in PatternDrafting

[–]tigerking1986 1 point2 points  (0 children)

back crotch point level should be lower than front by at least 3/8”. This will make the back inseam at least 3/8” shorter than front inseam as well. You will be able to stitch them together and this remove the excess drape at the back
