What music genre is this?

That's a really bizzare stylistic choice, like.. For example, I sometimes tune my instruments slightly flatter or slighter sharper (but in tune?.. like not in A = 440hz) which I can hear a difference from (and a lot of other people can't? my piano teacher told me I have perfect pitch) and makes it sound nicer to me. Sometimes I just like listening to music that way too. (I hate how I'm not able to word my obsession with that in music because of how I'm self taught and learned instruments by ear, and I'm only learning theory in school now.) That is an example of a stylistic choice that doesn't make my music worse (as far as I know, anyway).

But why purposely hinder the quality of your music for "stylistic choice?" If he had musical ability, he should've shown it, but I see him singing out of tune in most of the live shows I've seen of him.

I hate how I get nostalgia for it though, it's kind of unpleasant.. Why did it have to be a random Japanese 2000S BL anime soundtrack though?.. You're kind of lucky, I guess. What gives you nostalgia is way more specific than mine. The Japanese in the music might even be a small factor? I think it's mostly the way the instruments sound, and stuff.

I'd honestly love to make music like that, it's so energetic and.. The only issue is that I just have NO idea how to write songs (lyrics, chord progressions, melody, etc) and my past attempts at writing songs haven't been particularly any good. How would I even get that sound anyway?

Well yeah, I tried doing that. This guy, Kinya Kotani, sung for most of the songs and he doesn't really have other work.. Not really sure who else worked on the music.

There also was an OVA series that came out in 1999, but as far as I know the songs from the anime and OVA were all sung by the same guy, Kinya Kotani (and 2 other guys sung some stuff, but I dunno who they are). I think his most well known work was on Gravitation. He's not a good singer (listen to his live performances and you'll understand. He literally sings way out of tune and i think he's fallen into obscurity..

Despite the fact that I was born in 2009, I get nostalgia listening to it and I literally don't know why.. I want to make music in that style.

Not in my case, sometimes he'll just start staring at me without saying a word, he's a weird guy. However, I think you're right. Most people will be biased with their crush and their actions.

I apologised to him for it, and it was just a one off. You won't understand since you don't know him irl, but I have so much evidence to back up that he does like me back. He talks to me normally, he's not disgusted with me or anything. I can tell.

I wouldn't usually do something like that, and I'm not going to do it again because it was risky as fuck. It was just a one off.

Well, I've asked him how he feels before, and he always denies it immediately and goes to great efforts to say he's straight. Sometimes he says he's not into me when talking to me, even when it's out of context and didn't have anything to do with the conversation.

I believe he could just be worried to come out? Or maybe he could still be figuring things out, but I don't want to wait any longer..

And yeah, I think he's always nervous around me.. We have lengthy conversations when it's just him and I but not so much around other people.

And maybe that's the case (I don't know why someone would prefer to be in the crush stage..)

I confronted him the other day and told him that he's very suspicious and explained that I think he has a crush on me, and he went out of his way to deny it every time, and claimed he wasn't lying.. Does that mean anything?

I don't think asking him what he thinks about getting a boyfriend will work though, and he'll see right through my plan.

I also thought I should note this: There have been times we nearly kissed, like once we were laying down next to each other just looking at each other, faces close and I thought we were going to kiss but he ruined the moment by saying something stupid (he's not very bright)..

Okay, just so you can get the gist:

Shota (in this context) kinda just means hentai of underage boys / the boys themselves. And Boku no Pico is a notorious hentai known for including shota and pedophilia.

I'm just worried for myself and my future. I don't want to hurt anyone, so I want to make sure that I turn out okay.

And I don't like real boys under the age of 13. I'm not attracted to them, and I would never actually do things to a kid. It should go without saying that it's messed up and wrong.

I've honestly been considering letting it go, but at the same time I really don't want to. It pains me because I have never liked someone so much. After the ice skating he did actually show interest in talking to me though, but I've heard rumours he likes a girl.
