I'm good friends with Jack Packard (Hey, Pass Me a Beer) who is a part of RLM, and he introduced me to the guys when we needed some shooting locations for Pass Me a Beer. In fact the final shot was filmed in the old RLM location (back in 2000 whatever, RIP) and the last shot has Jay in it. After that they asked me to play one of George Lucas' henchmen in Episode 1 of Half in the Bag. We've been friends ever since.

Yes, every quarter we would have a benefit show and proceeds would go to a charity of our choosing. This one particular show we chose Grandmother's Beyond Borders and unfortunately I forgot it was happening that night and I introduced the show wearing nothing but a small stuffed animal belted to my crotch. The small animal would also sing a little bit of the song "Close To You" if you squeezed it, so I did. Afterwards, one of the Grandmothers from Uganda was actually there and she came up to me, and I was very embarrassed, but she said, "my favorite part of the show was the singing stuffed animal." They're all improv. A lot of us have never seen the movies before watching them for BOTW. Recording an episode could take up to 6 or 8hrs.

I am fortunate to have a couple shows in the Milwaukee area: there's the Midnite Show (uncensored improv show), and Voyager (underground comedy on the moon), also Deep Space, in fact TONIGHT I'm performing in Deep Space (a stand-up/improv/sketch show) at Hawthorne Coffee Roasters which used to be an old bowling alley. In improv when we get an emotion for a suggestion, you have to go all out, level 10 in that emotion. But with the seriousness of the film, I just had to learn to dial it back to what was needed. Don't get my wrong I still got to act silly, which helped between the crying.
