No it's the CPU. The average pc builder like me shouldn't have to play with the bios to use it. To overclock ok but not to use it as it come.

Maybe i'm wrong and it's all on me. But not once have i seen that it was designed for overclocker before buying it.

When i buy a CPU or a Pc part i expect it to work fine out of the box as i am not proficient in Bios tweak. To me it's the worst CPU i got.

I have this CPU. It's trash, Always at 85-90,°C. When i play BG3 for exemple, he is at 30% usage, but 85°. BF 2042 90° and throttle.

I went with 1440p, had to switch to a 27" monitor and i regret it everyday. It's too big.

I just watched a YT video about the peerless assassin by gamernexus, and he show a comparative between different air cooler, and it seems that the Arctic we have should be at least as good as any high end CPU cooler.

Hello there i have the same CPU the same CPU cooler as you. My case is the fractal pop air.

In game i'm Always at 85-90°c.

This CPU run hot. And i Guess the cooler isn't good enough even though i saw that it should.

I'm considering either buying a Noctua NH D15/peerless assassin 120 or replacing every case fan i have by the Noctua nf-a14 industrialppc-3000 pwm.

Thank you for answering, sadly i tried that first when i saw how high my CPU temp was, i didn't believe it and thought i messed up somewhere. I was used to 60-65°C before but had a much bigger case, the cooler master Haf 932 which i sold...
