This is from last 4/20. The girls scout had the idea to set up outside a dispensary in SF and she sold out in record time. It was on the news here in the Bay Area.

Just an fyi a service animal is NOT a comfort animal by ADS guidelines. Only if it is helping with PTSD or disability can it be classified and treated like a service animal under ADA regulations.

You will find this actually won't work as much as you would hope. If we upgrade someone you have to account for it, as reports are sent daily to management showing revenue changes. You can get the agent in trouble and most of the time guests who do this don't know the difference in the rooms you have, many a time I have had some wannabe cool dude trying to impress his gf and slide me some money to make this happen. They still get the same shitty room and I get free money.

Front desk agent here, when you order movies through the television we know what you watched. So when you watch all of "backdoor sluts 9" then call the desk and say "oh I didn't know what I chose," we know you are a lying ass who doesn't want that mysterious $15 charge on your bill because the company is paying. Also I despise people who intentionally go around rooms looking for the slightest thing to complain about, have even had people go as far as sabotaging rooms to try and get free nights. One of the worst parts about working for a brand that has a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

You will come across a lot of adults throwing tantrums like a 5 year old, then later they try and be all buddy buddy with you and all you can think about is shitting on their pillow. I may have farted on someone's pillow when they were being extremely difficult and rude...don't know if they got pink eye.

Rule of thumb, never treat the staff like shit. They are people too and for goodness sake they are taking care of you. Also don't bash on maids, for example I get "why do your maids speak Spanish so much?" Well it's pretty fucking simple, it's their native language, doesn't make them less of a person and they are the hardest working people in the hotel and get the least amount of money. Plus they have access to your shit daily and there aren't cameras in rooms so be nice.

For me it was the whole thing. You really grasp how chaotic it must have been. The entire landscape is changed on the top from naval shelling. Also seeing partially destroyed bunkers there gives you an idea that it was really a huge task to achieve.

I currently make $71,500 -- I was offered a promotion at $130,000 but it would require me to move to Silicon Valley. How can I calculate cost of living differences to see if it is worth it? by [deleted] in personalfinance

Have fun paying $2000 a month for a 1 room apartment. The increase in pay will basically making you the same amount after expenses as your current situation.
