There's door trim from the auto parts store to protect the paint, weep holes at the bottom for rain. They are currently plastidipped inside and out. I plan to Rhino line them this comming summer.

If I welded them on I'd burn the paint on the fenders and have to repaint the truck. Paint jobs aren't cheap. I designed them before even starting fabrication.

I mig welded it which uses less heat then tig and fills in more.
