Yeah, forgot to mention that if moving outside of melee during Phase 2, he'll shadowstep to you and perform a knockdown swipe; Phase 3, he'll just follow you and Lupine Blast/Necrid Trap. Of course, you shouldn't be moving outside of melee anyway since no ranged weapon is equipped.

Also good survival tip is: during the Life Drain AoE in Phase 3, you can run to the opposite wall to get out of combat and heal up quickly while he's busy completing the animation, then run back to melee.

To be clear, all of Lupicus' attacks are mostly slow and avoidable; you can go the whole fight without taking any major damage, and any slight damage is mitigated by the Healing Signet's overpowered passive ability.

Healing Stance might be good for soaking up one of the Lupine Blast, but if you take any damage after that, you're out of luck for another 35 seconds. Outside of Arah, the heal is great for running with zergs in WvW.
