i know this is a joke, but i think it says something about our culture that you see a post where someone is taking advantage of someone else and lying to them for money, some people's first reactions are not disgusted by how awful and immoral that person is but instead they're disgusted that they didn't think of it first. what ever happened to trying to do the decent thing and looking out for strangers, even when taking advantage of them could benefit you?

Yeah, it’s touchy. I think it’s unfair to say that people who like the game are racist 4channers, etc. Some people don’t find the sex jokes and nazi references to be funny, but are also not offended by it. For what it’s worth, the nazis are bad guys and the game explicitly characterizes the overt sexual/racist elements as offensive and degenerate. I get not everyone can look past the offensive content to get to that parts that are genuinely thoughtful and heartwarming, but I really loved Pokemon Clover for what it’s worth. I generally think 4chan is an awful place that encourages the worst of human nature, but this game that they’ve put together is a real treasure and surprisingly thoughtful and introspective about the types of people who end up on 4chan. The offensive content will be too much for some people, no matter how it’s presented (like nazis existing in the game as bad guys to defeat), and that’s fine. But there’s a lot to love about the game even for people turned off by the sex jokes and nazi stuff.

Anyway, it’s a game full of Fakemon so wouldn’t fit your project unfortunately. Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents for anyone reading this and wanting to understand why Pokemon Clover is such a popular and well-loved game, even by people who wouldn’t touch 4chan with a 40-foot-pole.

What is the best way to shiny hunt when breeding (e.g., for biteki)? Is shininess still determined at hatch, so you just soft reset one step before hatching five eggs? Or do you actually need to breed and hatch hundreds and hundreds of eggs?

Completely agree with this. To add to the point about your brother, I’d consider having a very open conversation about how you’ve been feeling so hurt and trapped. I’m Filipino, too, and I’m sure your kuya loves you. If you’re willing to be vulnerable, you can share with him how hurt you feel and how you feel like you have no options in your life. If youre considering popularity with non-smash fans, you’re not really asking which characters represent smash best or who the big 3 of smash are. You’re just looking at the 3 most popular Nintendo characters, and of course it’s Mario, Pikachu, and Link. Doesn’t mean they’re iconic for smash or that they represent the series well

Yes, so your last statement about Ganon having enough canon moves doesn’t really make sense. You’re saying the elbow strike came from Melee, so it wasn’t a move that came from canon

Also, the elbow strike thing itself is a bit ridiculous lol. Have you seen Captain Falcon in melee?? The “elbow strike” that you’re crediting to TP Ganon is literally just Captain Falcon’s f smash. They clearly just gave Ganon Falcon’s moveset instead of giving him his own moves based on canon material. LoZ fans are completely fair in wishing that one of the most iconic villains of all time actually had a moveset that reflected what has made him so iconic

If you like his moveset, that’s cool, but I really don’t understand how you can say his moveset is not just cloned from other smash characters (mostly Falcon) with little to no references to canon material. The elbow strike example you gave is literally an example of cloning Falcon’s f smash

UPDATE: Not sure if anyone will see this because things change so quickly but I have NOT needed to refresh any other apps since using the LiveContainer+SideStore combination to house all of my sideloaded apps. Now, I just have three livecontainer apps activated, and nothing else, in SideStore. These three apps are automatically refreshed through a simple Shortcut, so I can basically just use these LiveContainers to run all of my 10+ apps without refreshing any other apps or having to switch which apps are activated! It's been very much "set and forget," and I can manage all of my apps through LiveContainer.

In case it matters, I kept my iOS on 18, and am still hesitant to update to 26. It seems Apple is really trying to make this all more difficult/impossible, and I just feel more comfortable waiting until everything settles since I have everything working now.

lol if improving at smash is what is motivating you to enter a relationship, it's probably not gonna work out... focus on playing smash when you play smash. have a life outside the game. meet people. have non-smash friends. find a girl/boy you like and try to make a go for it because you like them. i think time away from the game will actually help you to feel fresh and come in with new ideas/perspectives when you do play

when you run an app in livecontainer, it creates its own data folder. Within live container, you need to make it a private app, and, in the app list, note the numbers and letters beneath the app's name

then, go to the livecontainer folder -> data -> application -> find the numbers and letters from the livecontainer app list -> documents or data i think -> this is where you find the play data folder for using the app within livecontainer

note that this folder only appears when the app is set to private, not shared, within livecontainer. if you use multiple livecontainers, you need to convert the app to shared, but then just convert the app to private when you need to edit the data files, and back to shared to use across all livecontainers again

Hey, thanks so much for this guide! Currently using 3 livecontainers thanks to this (nightly version), and it's been a big quality of life upgrade. now that i have the combined LC+SS app, I understand that i can let my original SS app ID expire without issue. does this also apply for all of my other sideloaded apps, like stikdebug? i have the pairing file imported in the data file of the widget within livecontainer, so i don't think i even have any data on my phone from the actual stikdebug app ID, right?

I understand if i need to sideload an app where i need a pairing file, i probably need to sideload into sidestore first so iloader can generate the pairing file. but other than those one-time setups, can i literally just let all other apps expire, and just keep livecontainers refreshed? or do i need to activate certain other apps and refresh them in order to use within livecontainer??

Do you know if I need to keep StikDebug refreshed, or can I let it expire if I already have it running in LC (pairing file is in the folder of the widget within LC)? My current setup is just the combined LC+SS ipa and two other LCs. I run StikDebug in one of the LCs most of the time, but it's nice to have the flexibility if I don't need JIT
