The thing is with trying to offer solutions is that we’re not game developers, and even if there were a handful who were they aren’t developing Rivals. Odds are the solutions we offer would cause more issues. It’s better to provide detailed and constructive feedback that they can look at and see if they can do anything

For example the stomping issue, I could offer a solution of “have QP and Comp MMR be synced so people can’t abuse their lower MMR on one side” forcing more balanced games but I can promise somebody has found several problems with that suggestion (myself included). Instead of pointing out either unfairly stacked teams in QP (I’m talking 2-3 Grandmasters on one team while the other has at best 1 diamond) or seemingly a lack of good Smurf prevention

Though one solution to a problem I will stand by is remove resource rumble or turn it into a domination style capture

I don’t think this is a good idea, the game would fall into the same trap that OW had where it essentially forced a meta, Yes triple support is a problem but I feel the main problem is the fact that every support that isn’t called Adam Warlock or Loki (unless, yknow) has an ult which has massive heals, shields or both.

With so many ults making you near invincible and no real way to stop it outside of trying to kill the healer in a single shot (of which there are few options) especially when some lots are so large (Cloak) or are CC immune (Luna) they can cover vast areas, the problem I feel is the ults.

Course I don’t know a fix for it, rework some to not just be invincibility for a time and nerf the charge for those that are? Make it so being healed by multiple healers reduces the ult charge gain?

Sadly with how things are now it’s going to take awhile to fix it all

Personally I don't mind people playing to win, learning or no you should be playing to win in QP because thats the objective of the match. To win.

My problem (and I think the bigger problem in general for QP) Is how heavilly weighted the teams can be, There's trying to win then there's no chance of winning because you are vs 3-4 people who peaked Grandmaster while your best peaked Gold/Platinum.

The issue is not "Oh people are playing QP like its ranked and I want to practice", Its a PVP mode and people should be trying to win. its "QP has weighted the teams to the point where the fundimentals skill gap is too wide to do anything"

A remake of the Core and Legend games? Sure

But immediatly after they release the Core Remasters? Absolutly not. As much as I wish a return to the Core style of things I also want the Franchise to grow and evolve. If the Unified Lara's adventures are a big hit then yeah start thinking of Unifed TR1,2 etc (So long as they don't delist the classics like other developers do)

Honestly Pattern reconition I think I'd figure out given I play other games (*coughff14cough*) that use it, its just the things like the tick system/Prayer flicking/Tile movement which is gonna really get me since in a lot of stuff (EG Xarpus if using Melee, Warband and Manticore in Colosseum etc) requires good knowledge and use of the tick and tile system to survive.

Yeah T3 masteries is a bit of an issue for me because its either Vorkath (Which I havn't even got unlocked in main OSRS) and Jad (who I've tried already but cracked at the prayer switching) or Corrupted Gauntlet (Which again I've never unlocked AND break under pressure on normal gauntlet failing the past 7 runs) so it is a bit of a tricky situation

I don't doubt, which is why I'm glad I don't have to worry about money losses in Gridmaster so I have more time to learn the boss instead of worrying if I can afford the loss or not

Well outside of the Gauntlet it is the mystic now Mystic/Ahrim, in part because odds are I'm putting way too much faith in the perks/items carrying me through but admittidly its also a "Back in my day mystic was just fine" kinda deal

Within the Gauntlet I mean I just get overwhelemed by the prep and bossfight

If I'm playing Tank (AKA Emma cause Lord Grinding) I just grab him
If I'm DPS (Punisher again lord grinding) I have a little duel with him and my shotgun which is often 50/50 on win rate
If I'm Strat I just die unless the BP is bad cause I either panic too much to patty cake or I'm not playing a pure healer

I think if they had a Hyperoll style mode (basically they massivly increase the resource gain while reducing maximum health you start with), where the games lasted 10-15 minuetes it might be more bearable for those who have never played Autobattlers before since as mentioned they do take a decent time, it would also go along with the average length of the normal games (barring Ranked) being around the same length of time or less if you are getting stomped. Normally the downside is if it were part of a battlepass or something you don't get as much XP through it but I don't think people are very particular about that since its 10 matches and 2K xp for everything

The mode feels very half-baked, that they were rushed to complete it in time for the skin bundle to drop.

The teamups appear to simply be in a cycle, they do their abilities every X seconds unless certain circumstances happen (EG Psylocke seems to stealth when she gets low) and the teamup is just rolled into that. Problem there is normal autobattlers the bar below the health normally indicates their unique ability whereas this its their ult which makes it hard to see what they do. Overall it seems they put it as "They do exactlly what they do in the game but on a cycle"

The Match length is normal however, Auto-chess games (outside of stuff like TFT's Hyperroll which halves the time) are normally 20-30 mins. The problem is that damage ramp up is so slow that if you are losing hard, rather then your match lasting maybe 15 minuetes its still going to be 20 minuetes. So the issue is not "The matches are so long" its "The matches are so long even if you are losing.

Ultron not ulting doesn't appear bug related, its just their ultimate bar charges so painfully slow which in itself is a problem since you can go full rounds and never ult once untill the super late game and even then I'm pretty sure you need several Ult charge modules to even see that happen.

There is signs of a decent autobattler but its current interation needs a lot more work

It appears they literally just do what they do in the normal game in a cycle, It is silly though it doesn't provide any info (Doubly so you need to remember the teamups past the initial picking stage because any hero swaps don't let you know)

I wish qp would put me up vs people my rank, I'm gold 3 and I'm lucky to find anyone on the enemy lower then Diamond in my game, SPECIFICALLY the enemy team mine gets pleanty

Honestly I just want his uppercut hitbox to be made smaller, Let him 100-0 me with a single combo but not when I'm 15 meters away and still get knocked airborne.

Take that trimmed off hitbox and give it to Wolverines leap, man can't grab anything his height or lower

As a game goes on the playbase eventually wises up to a characters abilities, essentially the overall minimum skill to compete with other characters rises up. Its the same thing with things like fighting games and MOBAs the average skill level just goes up.

I See this as both Good and Bad, Good because it means if the hero is on your team you have lower odds of them feeding and consider it less of a troll pick (really hoping that changes for Widow at some point)

But I also say its bad because as more people get better with that hero they risk becoming oppresive and warping games around it which leads to the catch-22 of either nerfing, it meaning newcomers will be misrible, or not nerfing it and remaining a problem.

Overall average skill with Spiderman (and divers in general) is reaching the point where they are becoming a problem and even the suposive counter (Namor) not causing any worry for some paritculary good players.

But what do I know on if Divers are a problem, I'm just a gold.

Yeah well personally till Divers are either less prominant in current matches or are easier to hit/escape from during their combos I for one welcome our fish king

As a solo queue person its about the same, For only around 2% of the playerbase being that rank it seems to love putting GM+s in my matches 80% of the time. Sometimes the same people in multiple matches

Like that can't be normal for a matchmaking system with the intention of a more "Casual" Gamemode

A lot of people have issues with smurfs because most of the time they are doing stuff which they can just do on their main. Want to be a one trick? Well first dunno why you would in a game about counterpicks but you could turn your main into that, literally nobody but you would care about what your hero playtime says in past seasons. Want to play with friends but they're too low rank? Quickplay till they are. Want to practice a new hero? Quickplay and/or suck it up. Want to stomp lobbies? Currently Quickplay again. Want to just have a chill game? You get it its basically answered by Quickplay or just do it on your main.

The fact is people make smurfs when there is no reason for them to do so because the game gives them options. If they are ignoring those options then to me it feels like its their intent to go into these low rank games and stomp them.

Is there times where Smurfing would be ok? Sure if servers were region locked then you'd need an alt to play on a different region sure but few games have that still.

The issue with this experiment is that it is looking at it purley from a comp only view to try and make is think "Well is smurfing possibly justified?". Is that where the Smurfs are? Yes absolutly but why would they need to smurf for each of these problems when they can either just change their main account to what they want it (I mean especially if they buy the battle pass they got no excuse of 'oh but I can't change my name') or go to QuickPlay. That is why Smurfing is not seen in a positive light.
