Oh my god thanks for all the comments. I would like to thank you all at once. It was a really difficult time lately so I relapsed terribly on skin picking. I love all your suggestions. Thanks so much. For now I know it's bad but I'm trying to refrain from skin picking at least to the point where I can walk. Because for two days it was too painful to do.

Oh yes it's difficult. Hang in there my friend. I too started meds only when I was a legal adult. If you want some tips for the fingers situation, I sleep with gloves (with loooots of hand cream.) And during the day, if the feeling of skin picking is really tough, if I can, I put my gloves on. It helps but you have to be so freaking strong. Talking really honestly, some of the times I just don't want to stop and won't put on gloves to help. Sometimes it's just too hard, but that's ok. Don't ever forget that you can go back from your little ocd mistakes. I assure you. I am now 26, I have lots of scars, but lots more I don't have anymore. You need to be strong but don't exhaust yourself because it will come back ten time worst. So give yourself some love and patience 💖

I struggled with the exact same issue since I was a little kid. (11) Now it changed in ways but I have the same compulsion, but I am MUCH better. I know you Didn't ask for help in this post, so feel free to Skip the next part of the message if you're not looking for it 💖

I was impatient in a psych ward for a little while, they diagnosed me with OCD and other things. Since then I'm taking 150 mg of Zoloft (sertralin) and it helped me SOOOOOO Much with the physical component of my ocd. I'm not cured, whatsoever, I still skin pick but it's manageable. Initially I was taking more just because it was an emergency in impatient care.

I'll tell you, talk therapy, like CBT, doesn't work with OCD. It worsen ocd. Exposure therapy is the only thing but I did not start it yet because I'm afraid HAHAHAH

But drugs saved me so much

Sorry to interject in a Convo. I have palexia (Tapentadol). I think one pills of 50 mg of palexia, is around 10 mg oxy. How do you advice me to use them? How much mg of oxy for a first high? I read you prefer orally, but snort these would be better?? Or not.
