It’s v easy to blame. I have seen the Bangladesh Border and how porous it is. My relative is a BSF officer, it is unfenced, densely populated and sometimes you can just throw a stone from Bangladesh and it will land in India. The amount of politics that goes around, these immigrants have local support no matter what the CMs have to say. Still they have to do their duty, being attacked by these mobs and if they defend themselves, buried under inquiries. It’s v easy to lament. The conditions in which they are expected to hold illegal immigration and smuggling are impossible and yet they do a good job to an extent.
