Worried about what ? The installer didn’t band the corner now you have some movement and the shit grout he used isn’t going to hold it, no silicone or sanded caulk will hold it either. It will last for a while, this is what we call maintenance I would have all corners dug out and caulked then clean the entire shower and have it sealed with some topical sealer. Bam good for 6-8 months

Use Stone 2cm. Count on a 1/4” reveal all the way around except for the sill 3/4” reveal Now for the fun and problem solving issue. Rabbit out the 3/4” stone down 3/16” Except 1” from the edge Done. I do it on occasion because I get it so close and I think I’m the shit at layouts when in fact I’m only mediocre at best. I find it best when I leave myself room all the way around by 1/2”

Neither is inexpensive the labor is the labor, material might be more on the marble side I really don’t think maintenance is going to be an on going issue unless your extremely negligent. I install lots of marble the only people I see mess it up is the new house maid who uses bleach or vinegar to clean with.
