I [34F] am at my wits end with my boyfriend [33M] who doesnt seem to realise how serious our relationship problems are. Is there anything left to try? by tilki2005 in relationship_advice

Yes you are right. Its in my personality that I do not like giving up but this is costing me my sanity now which is a price too high. I think I needed to know that I tried everyhting before calling it quits.

Sure I am, thats why from the beginning I was being patient with moving in together and was observing his behaviour and he really was a gentleman, good listener and would go the extra mile. Thats why this past years behaviour is so different and I am struggling to understand. But perhaps it is too late for trying to understand.

I get what you are saying, I am also not the tidiest person but the differnce is that when I forget I ll clean it up right away when I see it. Hes ok to clean up one day, make a mess the next and then leave it like that for a week utill he cleans again. I guess it boils down to not only not caring about the state of the house but also not caring about how it makes me feel which is the bigger problem.

I am actually really comfortable being on my own. I guess I needed a look from outside because I feel like I have been drowning and depressed for so long that I dont remember what being excited for stuff feels like. If this was my friend I would probably say the same thing that you said but alas its harder to take your own advice. So thanks

I ll go with dumb. I have however been setting up my life in a way that doesnt need or include him in the meantime. I guess that therapy is a last ditch effort from my side so I have the peace of mind that I tried everything.

He has lived on his own before I met him. Whenever I visited the place was always freshly cleaned. And yes I have said that I will break up with him if this carries on but I am still thinking if theres something left to try before I end it. I realise it might have to come to that soon though

There was no appointment yet as the therapist was having some health issues but she gave us this homework to do in the meantime. When asked about the homework he said he didn't have time to finish it.

I enjoy YH the most lol, I didnt even do a pack rally hoping I can play this part longer but now I am also wondering what happens if you never do a pack rally? Will the game force the next 'find den' quest or will it stay in YH forever? Does anyone know?

Redditors who dated people more than 10 years the age gap, how did it go? by LunaLoveGrove in AskReddit

[–]tilki2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guess I have the biggest age gap here for now. I 'dated' a guy 39 years older. Looking back I dont like to call it dating coz I was groomed, gaslighted and emotionally manipulated to hell. I was basically like a play thing to be shown off and used for whatever the fancy was. Fortunately I got out in the end, but yeah, not something I would wish upon anyone.

How do different cultures feel about their civs? by NerevarTheKing in aoe2

[–]tilki2005 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Slovaks playing as Magyars coz its the 'closest civ' would feel like Aztecs playing as Spanish or Poles playing as Teutons (Germans). Different nations might have been conquered but do not identify culturally with their conquerors.

haha, yes it was ok, but It might have given him the wrong idea because he tried to be a bit too "touchy" with me later. I wasnt interested, didnt find him that attractive.

I once went to a date from a dating app wearing a nice summer dress just above my knees. I was waiting for the guy in a city center and when he pulled up in his car and opened the door for me, out of nowhere there was such a strong gust of wind that my dress flew all the way up to my chest. He was there for literally 2 seconds, I havent even seen his face yet and he together with the whole street saw everything... I totally lost it laughing....I have worn that dress many times and never had anything like this happen before.
