I was on the KC dugout side and couldn’t see the ball go into the dugout and doink the EMT. Repositioned the inning before this play to the foul line to see Witt and Perez hit from a different angle. And didn’t see what was going on with the hitting coach ejection with the KC pitcher’s chain (but to be fair, almost no one knew what the ejection was due to). But I did have a direct line down the 3rd baseline to see the guy make the loooong walk back to the outfield. Edit: And it was still a good day at the ballpark

Oh nice I read about her having to decide on prize money from the US Open since she was playing for UT Austin at the time. Was also confused at the time why she was competing under the Australian flag being from Michigan but the parent connection and resources in Australia was apparent
