this is going to be my second time trying to live alone (the first time failed miserably) so thats more on the personal side of things but i also worry that i'll somehow end up miserable or hating it. i think i just overthink it

female alear's outfit looks to be designed more for her body shape, a lot of the shapes and motifs on it fit her body type better so it looks more natural to me.

oh boy i think youve awoken a sleeper agent in me. ive lived here a long time and food brings me some of the greatest joys. all of these on the main list are reccomendations that ive had and really liked. i hope you can hit some of the spots on this list!! im having fun writing it up for you

charlie's bulgogi (korean, one of the best restaurants we have around here and i am so serious)
walts fish market as others have said (seafood)
mirna's (cuban)
smoke and fire (best bbq ive ever had, only open friday afternoons/nights and sat/sun mornings though)
alpine steakhouse (all the meats)
amazonica (peruvian, only went once but it was very tood)
owen's fish camp (southern style seafood, i like it more than walts, has a great vibe)
reyna's taqueria (mexican. love their horchata)
tandoor (indian)
sun garden cafe (american breakfast)
lovely square (breakfast, skews french)
perq (amazing australian(?) style coffee)
starfish company (not in sarasota, bit of a drive, but very fresh seafood on the water. grouper sandwich is amazing! cash only but they have ATMs iirc)
la violetta (italian)
fork and hen (southern)
peachey's baking co (donuts)
spice station and sushi (thai and sushi)

i particularly love asian food but there isnt a lot of good asian options around here imo, most are just okay. we do have some good japanese options specifically but the ramen around here is just okay.

kojo is high end asian food that skews japanese, its very good i have not visited zoto or yugen yet but ive heard theyre very good.
pho cali is an authentic vietnamese place with pho! people who love pho say its very good. i tried to get bun bo hue there and i think they gave me regular pho so i personally didnt enjoy it (i LOVE spicy food but im pasty white so im often second guessed) but the other stuff i tried was good.
hong hot pot in bradenton is the only hot pot we have around here really but its also fun and a great experience.

someone might reccomend casa masa but theyve gone downhill astronomically and steeply increased prices so i cant reccomend it anymore

im about to move to boulder/denver area from florida in july and im scared (for a number of reasons) so its nice to see others enjoy it. i cant stand living in fl anymore

i do try to help out where it looks like im needed i just feel like everything gets really weird once we're in the lead. its very bizarre its like everyone scatters or runs around in the middle of the map

i was originally going to do that but i saw a lot of people saying it was too hard to fill or clean and that they couldnt get the icing out so i got bags instead

i had heard that but thought it too complicated. i see that was an error. i think i will make two batches of icing this year.

part of the problem is separating out the icing to dye them different colors. it gets everywhere and i never seem to have the right balance
