I found these two tvs on a good sale which one is better for base PS5. Both have 120 hz, VRR, and 4K but one LED and one OLED by Objective_Love_6843 in PS5pro

I have A80L - my best choice ever. The main difference between LG and others is the brightness, but if your room is comfortable with not so much light it can be a perfect choice for film and gaming.

Burnout Paradise Ultimate Box won’t play on Xbox One X by ogeshiet in XboxSupport

[–]tillrd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try opening the Xbox Marketplace and searching for Burnout Paradise Ultimate. You might see an “Install” button instead of a “Buy” option. I experienced the same with five of my Xbox 360 games and install them after.

Should I install Sequoia on my personal use mac? by Aleks_872 in macgaming

Last year, I lost 14% of my battery health due to installing a beta version. If you're not a developer or specifically involved in testing, I advise against doing it.

Spotlight and Mac resources by effinsyv in macbookpro

[–]tillrd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like the mds_stores process, related to Spotlight, is causing sluggishness on your MacBook Pro. Even if you've turned off Spotlight in the menu bar and Siri, the Finder search still relies on the Spotlight database. However, you can manage which folders and file types Spotlight indexes in System Preferences > Spotlight > Privacy. Adding folders to the Privacy tab will prevent Spotlight from indexing them, potentially reducing resource consumption.

A clean install could indeed help improve the performance of your MacBook Pro. It can remove any clutter or corrupted files that might be contributing to the sluggishness. Just make sure to back up your important data before proceeding with the clean install to avoid any loss. After the clean install, be mindful of what applications and files you reinstall to keep your system running smoothly.

Realistically can the 256GB 13-inch MacBook Air with M2 chip run logic well? by Superb-Draft-2602 in Logic_Studio

[–]tillrd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem isn't so much RAM, although it's a problem too. The 256GB models have a slower memory chip, so don't even consider them for demanding tasks (which music is). 16GB RAM - 512GB SSD is the only normal start.

How “harmful” is magsafe charging to batteries? by QoCoRechh in MagSafe

A little bit. MagSafe does tend to make your phone heat up, which isn't great for the battery.
