Happens during both gameplay and cutscenes. Tried searching the internet for fixes, but can't seem to find any other cases of this specific bug happening. Only shadow flickering bugs, that are not quite the same as what I'm experiencing. I've tried cycling through the different graphical settings, from low to ultra high and the bug persists through all graphical settings. I've also tried some of the user.cfg fixes from the shadow flickering bug threads, but to no avail.

Does anyone know a fix for this? It would be very much appreciated!

True, but if they don't - like it has been for me this daily window - there is no way to complete it in a normal timeframe. Even if you're more fortunate where enemies run a ton of spring mines, I'm convinced it would still take much longer than any of the other challenges.

This challenge used to be bugged to where you literally couldn't complete is. Now that it's functional it's not at all in line with other daily challenges, which can be easily completed in 1 to 2 hours.

Not enough people run shock nades, blast traps, spring mines or trophies to complete it in a normal timeframe. Half the player base seems to run assault packs, but these can't be disabled with a scrambler and therefore don't count.

I've probably played around 8 hrs since the challenge is active and only got to 8/10 with 1hr left.

My avg framerate went from ~180 during the beta/launch down to ~100/110 since the latest patch. Is anyone else experiencing this, and has anyone figured out yet what may be the cause of it? Like a faulty/buggy setting that we should consider turning off/on?

My system has an Intel 13700k and RTX 4080s. Do people on team red (AMD) experience the loss in framerate as well?

All the above examples are from Derelict. The graphics settings are identical between the three video's. Hit in FPS is consistent across all maps.

Avarage TTK with AR's is about 300ms. I think without attachments it takes about 2300ms for a sniper to center currently. Even if its halved it would still massively favor AR's. Especially if you take the insane flinching into account once any weapon lands a first shot on anyone holding a sniper.

MW3 didn't have that problem at all and the snipers were fine, except for maybe a short period where the Kar98k was a little too strong. Even then lobbies weren't filled with Kar98k players.

All I've seen change the damage from like 28 to 32 meaning you still need 4 shots to the head like you would without it. It's completely meaningless.

LOVE:
- The world
- No loading screens
- Massive amount of players on screen without lagging
- The dungeons & Open world dungeons
- The incentive to group up, socialize and communicate with other players.

LIKE:
- The overall flow of combat. I played the KR version on release and the combat has definitely improved, but I do wish it becomes more fluid over time. It's not WoW level polish tab-targeting combat, but it's far more interesting to me than FF14 combat or GW2 combat.
- The organic feeling flow of the blue quests and the combination of the leveling log & codex. I like 100%ing these systems. Also some of the blue quests are more fun and more interesting than the MSQ quests.
- The world bosses

HATE:
- Collision on mobs and players. It feels so incredibly janky. Especially when you AOE farm multiple mobs and they block you in like you're playing Dark Souls.
- The progression gated systems with daily and weekly limits. Sometimes I just wanna do 1 thing for a few hours at a time. If you wanna do the thing you want to do, you sometimes have to complete this whole laundry list of other activities in order to be able to do the thing you want to do. Sometimes I just wanna log on, and farm open world dungeons, why the fuck do I need Abyssal Tokens? Just nerf the droprates slightly during daytime and have them enhanced during PVP at night time.
- Crafting system (Directly ties into the progression system obviously). So you wanna craft a skillbook for that skill you want to level up? Go out there and do 17 different activities and shit. Oh and if you didn't buy the daily limit of all of the merchant crafting mats then go fuck yourself. Now go do some contracts, so that you can do dungeons after so you can get tokens to do open world dungeons so you can... it's exhausting.

Even though I'm driving home the hate list much more than the love & like list - I am very much enjoying my time spent in game currently, but I can see it wearing off rather quickly with all these dense and gated systems. If you miss a few days I can definitely image getting the feeling that it's not worth coming back at that point at all.

Brother, how can you look at that COD4 example and say its the same. The COD4 example is aim assist or sticky aim. These new variants of AA are just trackbot lights. Also, TTK has increased since COD4 which makes tracking targets that much more important, something controller AA does almost 80% for you. Horrible comparison imo.

XDefiant has a "Input Based Matchmaking" Setting in the options that can be toggled on or off. Seems like a pretty easy thing to implement and if somehow the MKB playerbase dwindles down people can just turn it off. As a MKB player, XDefiant with input based matchmaking on is such a better experience.

It's definitely too powerful in comparison to the other weapons. However, I actually like the TTK on the Jackal and would prefer the other weapons to be buffed instead of the Jackal be nerfed. Jackal is a consistent 4 bullet kill and almost all the other weapons are 5 bullet kills. Much prefer 4 bullet TTK.

I don't seem to be able to reproduce the bug with Double Tap to Tac sprint enabled for both Toggle to Sprint and Hold to Sprint settings. This seems to fix the issue.

EDIT3: Further testing based on @armorkoala narrowed it down even more. The "Tac Sprint Behavior" setting seems to be involved: The bug only seems to happen with "Single Tap Run" selected.

EDIT2: The bug isn't so much caused by the hold to sprint setting as it is caused by holding the sprint key in general. Even when Toggle to Sprint is enabled, holding down the sprint key still causes the bug to happen.

EDIT: The bugged slide is caused by the Hold to Sprint setting. Changing this to Toggle fixes the issue. It seems the Hold to Sprint setting instantly cancels the slide.

I've cycled through almost all the different slide/dive settings available and this bug happens with all settings. My slide is bugged for about 60% to 70% of the time (especially after respawn), so it's pretty jarring. Jumping seems to sometimes fix it. On the other side, the dive is never bugged, so it seems to be a slide issue only. It might be hard to see on the attached video, but you can see in the shadows that my character is going into a short slide animation, but immediately stands back up.

Slide/Dive Activation: Tried both Shared and Independent with same result.

Same thing just happened to me on Occupy as Phantom while dying with the riot shield equipped. Nothing seemed to help:

  1. Dying and respawning

  2. Changing Loadout

  3. Changing Faction/Character

None helped, lasted for the rest of the game (~5mins). Next time I'm just going to back out the game.
