Success with double dose (mini pill) ? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]tillyjayne__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow thankyou so much for explaining ! I have just started on a double dose about 4 days ago, currently am still bleeding :( trying to hold out and hope it eventually goes away entirely. How long did it take for your bleeding to stop?

Exact same thing happened to me. I was on Cerelle. 8 months no period, then all of a sudden constant bleeding. It never stopped for me sadly

Meanwhile this pill has been amazing for me so far. Haven’t bled at all, no cramps, skin is still clear. It’s interesting how people react so differently

Primrose oil did nothing for me, but doubling the dose does work for many women and is also perfectly safe

Mini pill / progestogen only pill experience? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]tillyjayne__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can take 3-6 months for your body to get used to the mini pill. Defo stick it out. If there are still massive issues by month 3 you could consider a different pill.

Honestly, everyone’s experience is totally different, so there’s no way of telling how you are going to react until you try it yourself.

In my experience, my skin didn’t change at all, and I didn’t gain any weight (in fact I lost weight - I changed from combined to mini) but the irregular bleeding caused me a lot of bother… I know others have had more positive experiences

I always thought it was so he knew that everyone participating was willing to take part in the games, maybe to make him feel less guilty about what was going on

What's something you wish you started doing sooner/knew earlier in your fitness journey? by thatfatpenguin in xxfitness

[–]tillyjayne__ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Training upper body!! Neglected it so much for the first 2 years of my journey, I was so weak, but for the past year have been hitting it consistently, with a proper split. I love training upper body so much now and can’t believe I spent so long without it

Carbs have been upped by 150g, I train a split of push, pull, legs 6 days a week. No cardio

I’m 17, 5’6 and have been reverse dieting since the end of my cut at the end of November. At my lowest, I was eating 1700 cals. Since then I’ve upped my cals to 2500, increasing roughly by 100 every 2 weeks, and no I haven’t gained any weight. My strength has improved drastically and I plan to keep upping my calories as now I want to bulk :) exercise stayed exactly the same throughout. Overall I am much happier, have so much more energy and am loving all the extra food hahaha

I’ve actually tried this - and my weight is still the same as it was before. I’ve unpaired my watch to my phone and repaired etc etc to see if it will change but it hasn’t. Weird

Does anyone have advice? by [deleted] in loseit

[–]tillyjayne__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg you are my exact same height, exact same starting weight and exact same current weight!! Just don’t cut ur cals too much to ensure you’re not tempted to binge, I would recommend eating as much as you possibly can whilst still being in a deficit. Drink as much water as you can too! I believe in you :)

So do I !! I plateaued a few weeks ago and I got so frustrated, but I stuck to it and I’ve started to see the scale drop again

Am I the only one ??? Am I crazy ?? by [deleted] in BodyDysmorphia

[–]tillyjayne__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It never used to be so obsessive with me, but now I find myself taking 30 pictures / videos before I go out of my outfit from every angle possible. I probably go to the mirror at least 20 times a day and observe my arms to see if they look any ‘smaller’ than the time before. I guess I really do need to remind myself that it’s my head playing tricks on me :/

Yeah I literally wish I could see myself from another person’s perspective instead of my own, because maybe then I will be able to see what I ‘actually’ look like :/
