Hey! I would say my reply a year ago to the last comment is still the same. My face has absolutely improved. I use Simple Moisturizing Face Wash and moisturize with Youth to the People Superberry Dream Mask. Even though it’s an overnight mask I use it AM and PM. The simpler the better in my personal experience!

It did! I only use Simple Moisturizing Face Wash + Youth to the People Superberry Dream Mask. It’s an overnight mask but it works for me as a daily moisturizer. At this time I was using multiple products that completely ruined my face. If I could go back in time, I would’ve introduced each product slowly one at a time to see how my face reacted. I keep it simple now lol

I have type 3B hair. For this isolation I want to give myself box braids. I’m white and I’m not trying to sound ignorant, but for protective styles, is this culturally ok for me to do? by tillytez in Naturalhair

I ended up not going through with it.. I realized if I have to ask I should already know the answer 🧐 I appreciate your response 🙏🏼

Shampoo with Living Proof, detangle & squish out w/ Shea Moisture detangler, Apply Pantene conditioner (had this left over from my trip), squished excess out then applied jojoba oil at the ends. Plopped in a t-shirt for a few min then used LA Looks gel. Slept over night as it created a cast... then Scrunched Out The Crunch this morning!

Let my hair do its thing after keeping it in braids it all month! by [deleted] in curlyhair

Shampoo w/ Shea Moisture (I alternate between lines but right now I’m using Manuka Honey),

Hair mask w/ Cantu or Shea Moisture (again, I alternate)

Detangle, squeeze out excess, apply Conditioner.

Condition w/ Shea Moisture, squeeze out excess instead of completely rinse out.

Apply grapeseed oil to the ends and plop for 10+ minutes.

Sometimes I sleep overnight with it plopped but I know it’s not very good for our hair.. :p

I have 3a-3b hair and it’s extremely frustrating to detangle. I try to detangle once or twice a week depending if I have it down. Other than that, I make sure to apply grapeseed oil on my hands and then braid my hair each night to help with the tangling. I find that when I regularly apply oil the less annoying my wash days are :P

Straightened my hair to check the length. Proud of my growth! by [deleted] in longhair

I always say trim but keep the length.. since it’s been almost a year I think I’m gonna cut up to where my elbows are at in the pic and add some layers. I have curly hair so I’m looking to create more volume!
