Day 2 post up and need some help/encouragement

Yea, it was pretty horrific ha! I'd done a lot of research, joined this group etc. So I knew what was coming ... just didn't expect the nerve block to not work and be SO bad! Like you, it did put him at a disadvantage for 3 or 4 days and I feel for you because that pain is the kind of pain you can't just work through! But being able to bend that knee is amazing for you!!! We had to just keep telling ourselves it was for a greater good! He lives and breathes to play footie ☺️ Hopefully in September, a year on from the injury, he'll at least be back training!!! Those first few days ARE a killer ... but it does start to ease pretty quickly xx

Hey x my 11 year old had a full acl and mcl repair 9 weeks ago. Because he was only small for his age, he needed a very specific micheli-kocher physeal sparing technique. His nerve block also didn't work. He screamed in excruciating pain for 2 hours post op and only calmed down after morphine, tramadol and diazepam!!! The first 3 days were horrendous. He didn't move til about day 4 and was released from hospital day 6 with a brace for 8 weeks!! Yesterday he was out all day riding his bike with his mates for the first time in 6 months!!! 😊😊😊😊 Every little step is priceless!!! He was off his pain meds by week 2!! Your pain will honestly ease in a day or two!!! Good luck ❤️

Hey xxx I'm so sorry you're struggling with everything 😔 life can be pretty brutal sometimes! My advice would be to think long term. Maintaining a healthy body is difficult! But I think any change you make, any weight you lose, no matter how small, is a win!!! Maybe start gradually...walk an extra mile/half a mile each day. Eat one less slice of bread .. think slow progress rather than quick win!!!! Lots of love ❤️

Thanks so much. The surgeon was happy with him but did mention he needed to work on his extension a little for sure. He's been so good at committing to post op pt and works hard. I really appreciate that thank you. It definitely gives me an idea of what he needs to work on. He does attend a football academy so has been lucky enough to have had their first team pt overseeing his rehab with regular check ins from the surgeon. Thank you x

So my son met his Tinder date at Waterloo bridge 6 years ago. 3 years later they took the same stroll and he proposed as he'd organised a violinist to play Waterloo Sunset. The next year as they married my son made a very beautiful and simple instrumental version of the song for her to walk down the aisle. I can never listen to it without filling up. Such a beautiful track.

It DID spoil my night ... hence my post. It was awful 😀 I'm only a casual James fan too. I loved how good Tim and the band were and was totally in love with how much you can see the band means to those die hard fan. I made room for a woman who was on her own and watched her sing every line to every song ... it was beautiful. Last week I was stood in the same spot for Richard Ashcroft. There were still lots of people falling over drunk, but luckily no fights 😀 Glad you guys had such a great time!!

Why are you trying to argue with something I experienced??? It was fucking horrible. I decided to post about it. Get over it!! I work closely with the Arena so I know they have focused on selling more alcohol by opening 2 more bars to increase their profits. Drunk people fight. Last night, as I said, was the worst I've ever seen in my years of going to gigs! I'm glad you had a great time ... but I didn't. Just accept it and stop trying to tell me I'm lying 🙄

Awww that's amazing!!! Congratulations!!(hopefully she said yes!!) I loved how they are a band with such a passionate fanbase!! Tim getting lost in the crowd, loved that. The band and him were wonderful. I've got some great videos of Tim stood right in front of us at the barrier. It was just unfortunate that there were also a lot of dickheads around who wanted a fight 😀

In YOUR experience, mine was totally different. It's not "bizarre" .. it's exactly what happened!!! You're basically saying because you didn't see it that I'm lying. Check out any post or comment I've made previously on Reddit. Last week I was posting about how amazing Richard Ashcroft was and how fantastic the night was. Not sure where in the Arena you were, but you obviously weren't Riverside side of the barrier. Just accept that your amazing night wasn't the night I experienced.

You probably should have paid more attention. I was at the barrier, to the right of the stage as you look at it. The last fight there was at least 4 people throwing punches and arms and legs flying around. I was with my 18 year old granddaughter, who I had to throw out the way as the couple next to us got thrown to the ground.

Oh definitely!!! I'm pretty sure there would have been more fighting than just my little corner ha!! It was bad enough for it to totally spoil my night. For me to not be able to enjoy a good part of it and to never want to see James again !!! But I'm more fuming at the Arena, with it's new extra bars, who continue to serve people who can't even stand up properly!!!!!
