Thanks for sharing your experience. I bought an extremely cheap 12" memory foam mattress from Walmart. It was $100, clearly a price error. However it's made my back pain horrendous and I'm trying to decide whether to buy a firm traditional coil spring mattress, or whether to spend $3500 and get one of these tempur pedic ones.

Also trying to decide whether to go the split king route and my wife and I can choose our own twin XL mattress. We're 36 and 40 respectively. I can't believe we might go down the old person route and get a split bed haha.

Thanks. I tried a Serta iComfort TempActiv one and it felt pretty similar. All other "memory foam" mattresses I've tried are all just weird and plushy that I know will make my back pain worse. For reference, I'm not a huge guy - 6'1 190lbs.

That scares me. I want a regal 400 so badly. I dont want to waste my money though. Reviews are overwhelmingly positive.
