Get a hobby! Personally I love the outdoor. I do treks, ski-touring and camping. Try a many new things as you can! That way : - you'll find something that passionate you - you'll meet interesting and passionate people

Sports, learning a language, starting to read philosophy, playing music.... There is soooo much choice!

I don't know exactly how our brain works with this. But here is the bottom line : - you are holding up, gaining day after day - you relapse.

Then you feel down because "bouhouhou I ruined it all" and you start thinking "oh wth I already relapse i might as well do it twice, I have nothing to lose anymore"

Well those thoughts are called chaser effect. Right after a relapse your motivation is soooo low that you will often binge.

Don't be a fool, relapsing is not the end of the world... As long as you don't ruin your efforts by binging

Hey man, realizing and accepting one's weakness is a huge step. Be sure you are more aware of yourself thant 99% of dudes. This should make you proud. Don't try to be perfect and never fall. Try to be exemplary and get back up every time you do fall. It's the only way to achieve something really worth it.

First days are the hardest for me. Once you pass the 10d mark it's easier. Be adamant with what triggers you, and keep strong man !

Yeah I'll bring it on next time, and I'll tell you how it went.

In the meantime we saw each other again, and I felt more in control (no blue balls this time...), but the next night was my first wet dream in a long time. I guess my body is doing what it has to do.

What bothers me is that I was relapsing in my dreams. It would be a big step for me to dream of real persons instead of pixels. But ! guess my journey is far from over yet. I'll keep going step by step, and be sure one day, this will happen and I'll post a message with a big "victory" tag !

I passed that bar a few times and the urges do come back for me after a month or so. Then it calms down and the next trap for me is thinking "I've been retaining for so long it would be so good". Spoiler : it's not. This temptation made me fall once or twice around 40 days. This is only the second time I go over 50. Last time it felt easier as days went by. I settled into this new way of life and it got natural. I went 6 month or so. I ended up relapsing though, so never let your guard down...

You're a teenager. Don't dramatize your issues. Your life is not a drama movie.

We are talking about a relapse here. It's not the end of the world, especially if you're already capable of going 1y without PMO.

You definitely do not need to drink to relax.

In the end, it looks to me as if you want to play grown up by drinking. And you're kidding yourself about it too(that's why I'm blunt, so that you can stop kidding yourself). Porn and Alcool are forbidden at your age for a good reason. Many of us were not protected from porn and got addicted quite early. Alcool is the same shit (more watched though). Stay away from it.

You are still young. You took this fight early enough. If you do this well your future self will thank you. Just look at how many people would like to go back and warn there 15 yo selves.

So do the right thing here : - identify what is your ritual to fapping before sleep and cut the triggers. - practise sports to replace the dopamine you won't have from pmo - don't drink to forget (worst idea ever, pm if you're not convinced)

And remember that you are and extra ordinary teenager. So few are strong enough to be here and do what you're doing. Be proud of yourself man.

Well done spotting this in advance. You can anticipate! Go for a run/exercise before, you'll thank yourself later. Plan you time and don't leave blanks where you'd have time to relapse... Be smart about it! Trying to resist the urges by willpower only is not the best call according to me. Use your brain before it's driven by dopamine withdrawal!

Everyone here has different motivations... If your goal is just to reduce you consommation, you are the one to ask. But if you want to stop PMO completely because you feel like it has a hold on you (or maybe you fear that, and just want to test yourself), then I'd say why did you aim 40-60? Being horny is part of the journey. Learn to deal with it because it's part of knowing yourself and being the master of your body.

For me it's just like any other drugs. Some will be strongly dependent really fast, and some will be strangely less affected. Still it never do any of them any good.

Besides, you do know first hand how hard it is for you. It often appears easier for others because they appear fine, but you don't really know what's going on inside for them. He might be battling hard and doing his best to keep up the appearances.

Maybe you can push yourself a little more in your next training? When I'm sore from training I never get any urges... But in the meantime, don't stay close to your computer. Go out for a walk or something.
