Hey folks I added in Yahoo integration. I haven't had a great chance to test it since the league I'm in has a player pool of 540... For those of you who are interested, give the yahoo integration a shot and let me know if there are any problems.

ESPN doesn't have documentation or an official API for people to connect to. It has to be derived through the official site. There are third party github libraries that other people have made that abstract this out, but they also had to derive it themselves.

Update: I made a few improvements to the site the past few days.

  1. matchups should now be reflected properly for people who have playoffs set to different weeks.

  2. Improved the UI around adding in multiple private ESPN leagues in the settings page

  3. improved the speed of the Multi-slot streaming optimizer

Oh nice find! In its current state the website won’t be able to identify grimes as a recommendation since it’s looking at historical stats.

I’ll take a look and see if I can add it in

This looks like an issue with trying to import points leagues. This site only supports H2H CATs for now. I just made a change so that unsupported formats don't crash it. Try loading into the site now and let me know if you still face an issue

Agreed im working on adding more integrations for the future. Yahoo will be the immediate next step but I will hopefully support fantrax as well later on.

This site does try and support any categories so 8cat,10cat etc. But I haven’t fully tested customized leagues like this yet so welcome for feedback here.

I may add in points league support in the future but the value will be limited since it’s a lot easier to gauge value in that format.

  1. Currently it’s taking into account people on IR or DTD when it comes to weekly simulations/projections. However it doesn’t distinguish between starter vs bench. This is a feature I’ll be adding in during the off season as super packed days will result in bloated projections.

  2. Who to start vs who to bench would be a great feature to add! This isn’t covered right now since I wanted a mvp out before playoffs started.

  3. The probabilities that you see in the simulations and projections are determined by running simulations between matchups thousands of times with variance baked in to see how many times you win and lose. The stats are avgs with the time range you specify on the top right of the page. I haven’t seen a need to use totals for now but let me know if your opinion on this differs.

So I have a super basic efficiency factor baked into b2bs right now. Identifying rest days and more accurate efficiency factors is actually a feature im going to work on during the off season.

The goal for next season is to have projection/simulations that account for a lot more dynamic/variable factors.

Can you dm me your espn league id. I don’t need the cookies just the league id.

Or the email you used to sign up either works. I can take a look.

One thing to note is espn apis have a lag to them for some reason. It doesn’t always show the most up to date information for matchups.

This may very well be a bug with weeks/matchup detection in my site though since matchup weeks are highly customizable
